OK, let me put it to you this way, My school system is considered to be one of the best public schools in the country, we are talking by kids taking an AP class or something stupid like that idk, but my English teacher is one of the harder graders and if you are telling me that my grade just happens to go by .5 every quarter then is totally unbelievable

Oh and I had another conspiracy theory yesterday, Harry Potter is just like Nazi-Germany, what with all of that "Master Race" stuff

Embarassed
You didn't have to apologize.
It's just like Liam was saying, we're all from all over the globe and have different ways of doing things. There are going to be breakdowns in communication. It just happens. Nothing to be sorry for.

Having also been to one of the best highschools AP wise, I understand.

Such schools are known to be tough graders, and tough teachers in those kinds of schools make things worse; this is what the 2.0 GPA (about a 50 to 60 percent, a failing grade) is a result of. This also makes the .5 GPA increase per quarter unlikely. This would signify that either things are being easier, or that Vrals is becoming a genuis; the final grade of 3.5 GPA is about a B- to a B, or an 80 to 85 percent. Such increases are rare.

Hence the conspiracy.

Probably is also because I am so used to writing so many sophisticated essays, why must I go to one of the top public schools in America, and then have one of the toughest English graders is said school?! Know what that school makes me do sometimes? Guns firing myself

Nice to know someone gets where I am coming from, what really amazes me is that despite all of the great education people get, there are still people who are quite literally not as smart as a 5th grader

The quality of education in America varies greatly from place to place. And that isn't changing any time soon.

Yeah, no matter what Obama tries to do, different areas care about education in different ways, take Florida and New York for example, the education in some public schools in New York is pretty good while in Florida the education system is pretty horrible across the entire state, public school wise I mean, know who we can blame for that? Those senior citizens who spend the winter in Florida and don't pay ANY taxes, at least I don't think they do
