Yea, but his is more of an aggro valakut deck. Runs Urabrask, hastes out P-titan, then eats a face or 3.

I always liked chaos magic, basicaly you get a group of people. Together and in the center of the table is a stack of random enchantments, sorcerys, and instants. I usaly go two turns with out flipping a card but after that every time the last person of the current turn ends there turn a new card is flipped over.

Emperor is pretty fun. You get an emperor and 2 generals on each side. generals can only attack the person adj to you, you can pass creatures to your emperor, he can pass to them. Can't attack the emperor until one of the generals are down, and the emperor can't attack unless a general goes down.

Since the Generals (should) get some time unthreatened by opponents, do think an Eldrazi based deck would make a good strategy for the emperor?

If you have the cards for it, should look up Eldrazi green ramp. But I don't know how well eldrazi would work in emperor anyway. But can always do it just to have fun.

I altered the deck a bit, switching awakening zone for whispersilk cloak and Hedron Matrix for Coat of Arms.

The reason I thought that this would be good deck for the Emperor seat was because of the protection the generals offer, which gives plenty of time to build up the mana base for the Eldrazi, which I can then beef up and send to either front to take out enemy generals and eventually the emperor.

The coat of arms was a good swap out, should make the myrs more reliable.

I've thought about adding in a few good X spells, in case one of my generals got taken out and My Little Pretties weren't out yet. I just don't know what to take out, and exactly what should be put back in.

The odds of your generals getting zerged down are very very slim.

Yeah, but its good to be prepaired.

And I'm thinking of banning Show and Tell (2U, everyone puts a permanent into play for free) from Emperor in my casual group, since that would be broken in the hands of the emperor.
