There's no FF card game to my knowledge, but 8 and 9 had mini games that involved cards.

I didn't know where to put this thread either, but it seemed like the right place. I couldn't find a board for stuff like role playing (like D&D) and other games like Warhammer 40k and things of that nature.

Awww damn Sad

I found my yu-gi-oh cards... and half of them are just so horrible... they're all spell ones and no actual creatures ~_~

so I'm totally going to need to rebuild my deck and try to find some decent cards. :/

Underworld Dreams
Spoiler:

With Seizan, Perverter of Truth
Spoiler:

These two make and incredibly fun combo. It'll cost you two life a turn, but your opponents will lose 5 life a turn.

True. Looks like I'm gonna have to get a copy of that. Also in that deck with Seizan and Underworld Dreams, I've got a copy of Jace, Memory Adept.

Spoiler:

If I use his final ability when Underworld Dreams is in play, instant win. Only got that to happen once lol.

I don't have any planeswalkers yet. Looking forward to fixing that. Thinking about just getting a set of those Duel Decks that assure them.

Honestly I got that Jace out of a pity pack from participating in a FNM event. For those that don't place, they give out a "thanks for playing" booster pack. Those that place (5th place and higher) at the end of the night get increasing numbers of them as prizes.

The others I traded for. I have Chandra Nalaar, Chandra Ablaze, and Lilliana Vess. The only duel decks set I bought was Knights Vs Dragons, and that didn't have any planeswalkers in it.

Oh yeah I know that. I bought Knights Vs Dragons cuz I thought that would be a cool one to get. I knew in advance there were no planeswalkers.

Saw some magic packs for sale that were new to me, though apparently the type has been around since at least 2009. Planes cards.
Look interesting.

One of my friends got a Planechase set. It's pretty cool, especially in multiplayer. You're supposed to each have your own "planar deck" so you can use planes that work well with the deck you're using. My friend and I just use the one set, and it's been pretty interesting. Same with the Archenemy cards.

Had to read up on that. Sounds like a lot of fun too.

Yeah, like I said it's generally geared towards 3+ players (it's pretty much needed for Archenemy) but it's still quite fun.

Sorry for not providing you with any info on that, my last post in this thread was made from my phone.

Lol looks like 'yer gonna have to work a bit to get info in this thread.

Honestly though thank you. I've seen posts elsewhere here where someone mentions something, and another person goes "What's that?" expecting someone to tell them about it. It's like, um, can't you use google to find out what it is?

It can be annoying sometimes.
That's when you might want to do [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But a lot of the time it is better to get an explanation straight from someone who is experienced with the subject at hand rather than a source that's filled with technical jargon they may or may not understand.
In this instance, of course, I do have experience with the jargon and know right where to look to find out what I'm lacking.
Sometimes it makes sense to ask, other times not. Sometimes people are just lazy or not thinking.

Yeah, I can see what you mean. I figured if you stumbled across Planechase you'd be able to actually find something about Archenemy.

I also started collecting Heroclix, did not learn how to play the game just liked having certain characters and playing with them.. Very Happy= :D

From what I've gathered on the internet, Heroclix is some miniature game like Warhammer 40k right?

Something like that, more like D&D without story elements. Just scenerios and "you here, beat bad guys. Roll Dice" Kinda stuff.

Seems interesting.

Anyone out there ever play the Resident Evil deck building game? I bought it after Christmas and I must say my friends and I all really like it.

That's pretty cool Jaded. Both the part about Heroclix and MTG.

I have the most experience here with MTG than any other card games lol. If you had to pick a favorite set/block out of Magic, what would it be?

Tempest for me too. Though that's probably just because it's what I have the most experience with.
