My brother (banded1) got kicked out of the first pub he went into when he was of age (19) ,,,
you have to be legal for at least 12 hours before entering a pub/ bar
any how.. i missed out on congratulating you..

its not that you have to be legal for 12 hours. its that, that perticular pub has that rule... stoopid campus pub

That seems like a pointless rule, when I turned 18, which is the legal age I went into a pub the minute after midnight to watch the soccer world cup games.

I was drunk when I actually turned 18. For 12 hours.

That rule may seem pointless but it is useful to making a bouncers night easier, rather than dealing with "Newly legal" people out celebrating their birthday like looney toons they have an excuse to turn them away.
