Anyone know anything about this? How similar it will be to the N64 game?

I know nothing of this. I do know GoldenEye on the 64 is what started my love of fps.

It looks awesome. I was obsessed with this game back in the day. This is what I'm gonna ask for for xmas from the in-laws I think.

I'm glad they remade it. I still think a game of this caliber deserves to be in high def etc. Thats what frustrates me with nintendo. Their controller scheme and inability to provide the best look/feel for game remakes just doesn't do them the jutice they deserve like the 360 and PS3 can do. Rawr....
Because I don't have a wii I doubt I'll play this. I'll bug my friend though to try it on his just to see if proximity mines only multiplayer is as nutty as it used to be mwa ha ha!

I bought my bf a wii for "father's day" from our dogs... But we never play it cause most of the games are so lame. We play bowling and thats it.
I assume I'll have to get a "real" controller if I do get 007 cause that stick probably won't cut it.

There are definitely some worthwhile games for the Wii.
I'm not sure if I'll buy this, but I know a fan of the original that might pick it up.

Having watched the review the levels have totally changed. Yet they are still in the spirit of the movie.....but I was expecting similar level layouts with upgraded controls, graphics and layouts.
That has me disappointed

Me and the girlfriend just bought a Wii, Black Friday, and I would like to know what GOOD games are out there? We have the New Super Mario Game and Sports, Golden Eye is definitely next on my list.

-Either of the two Super Mario Galaxy games. Preferably the first one. Hours of content and good replay value. -If you can find it, Metroid Prime Trilogy. You get three games that will probably last 15+ hours each the first time you play them (based on my own experience, mind you - give or take five hours depending on how quickly you get the hang of the gameplay and on whether you go for 100% completion). -Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Again, a huge amount of content and total play time. Lots of different modes. It has online, but to be honest, local multiplayer is the reason to get this one. Great game to play if you have someone to play it with. -I haven't played it yet, but Donkey Kong Country Returns is getting rave reviews across the board. It certainly looks amazing. -And finally, remember that the Wii can run GameCube titles as well*. Look around for some used GameCube games - I got the original version of Metroid Prime and Kirby Air Ride, both fun games, for five dollars each; The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Super Mario Sunshine, also good titles, cost me ten each.
*You'll need a GCN controller, which also run pretty cheap, if I recall.

Just as a warning, Metroid Prime Trilogy was a very limited-edition release, which is why I added "if you can find it." It's no longer being manufactured. You can find Wii releases of both Prime and Echoes (and obviously Corruption, since it was originally a Wii title anyway) if I recall correctly, but they have to be bought separately at full price for each.
It might be cheaper to buy the original Metroid Prime on the GameCube, shell out a little extra for a GameCube controller if you don't have one, and see how you like the first game before you spend a lot of money on the whole trilogy.
