| I loved the first one, I had it on PC (and I destroyed the graphics card by playing that game for hours ) As soon as I heard Crysis 2 was being released, I was jumping for joy. Upon my first look at the trailer for it, I was blown away. It looked so beautiful. I haven't been this excited for a game... ever. I brought Crysis 2 yesterday, at EB Games for $97, A little reward for myself. Once I got home I chucked it in the good ol' xbox, and played for hours. The graphics, sure aren't as crazy as the first one, but still, definately one of THE best games I've seen on Xbox so far. I just did not want to put the controller down. The story in the beginning drags a little, but its worth it once things get heated. The storyline is exciting, and you don't expect whats going to happen next. The weaponry is awesome! Combined with the nanosuits technology... you're the biggest and most effective weapon out there in the battlefield. I recommend that if you've got the cash, go out and grab this! You will be blown away Online Review: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Are you running it on an HDTV with an HDMI cable? I recently bought a brand new TV and running it on my PS3 I thought it looked just as good. but I do agree, this game is freakin amazing. |

| Never played it, never will. I have never been very into first person shooters, but I have seen gameplay and I must say that the graphics are amazingly stunning! |

| Sometimes in the quiet part of the missions where you just have to walk somewhere, you just have to stop and look around to see the amazing stuff they have in this game. Its so detailed down to the very last leaf, its amazing. |

| I was blown away at first and still am by the graphics, but the story never grabbed me and the gameplay wasn't my thing I guess. I cant pin point it but after I beat it I knew I wouldnt play it again because it felt like a chore to me to finish. Still a good game but not my style I guess. |

Did you give online MP a go? Yes, it was fun but not my style. I like Battlefield and Gears online and rainbow six. I am more of a slow paced online player. |

| Confirmed I enjoy it anyways. The Larger sized maps and the small teams allow you to use the suits powers to your advantage, but doesnt overpower any of the aspects. I cant wait till the psn gets back and I can play some multiplayer again. |

| So my copy of Crysis 2 came in the mail today and so far I'm impressed. But I'm stuck earlier in the beginning of the game and could use a bit of help.
Anyone have any tips for staying hidden in this game? I'm seriously getting spotted like all the time haha. |

| I assume you're using Stealth Mode. Stick to cover whenever possible. When you need to pass close to enemies, go invisible, move slowly, and crouch. This makes you quieter, and harder to spot. Carry a Stealth Nova if possible as a secondary weapon. This can be fired a couple times without breaking your invisibility, though it does drop your energy. Make those shots headshots. One bullet in the head is enough to kill a soldier (or two if they're lined up right). In case you haven't tried it yet, remember that you can silently kill enemies by cloaking and then sneaking up behind them and pressing R3 when prompted. Use your visor to locate enemies you might not see yourself. They always appear with upside down green triangles above them. Enemies do seem to have an uncanny ability to see any bit of you that's possibly visible if you're not cloaked. For example, I ducked behind some waist high boards once to let my energy recover and they still managed to see me because the boards had a bit of space at the bottom. So if you need to regen, make sure you're fully behind cover, like around a corner or behind a column. Don't let your energy run out completely. If you turn whatever off before it runs out, then energy begins to regenerate almost immediately. If it runs out then you have to wait an extra three seconds. Judging by how long you say you've had it, I'm going to wager that you're at a spot where there are two trucks with guns on them, or around there somewhere. That part stuck me for a while. *Don't read this if you don't want too much help.* - Spoiler:
If that's where you are, stay on the building where you come out at, and stealthily chuck a 'nade or two at the trucks. If you can catch both at the same time, great. If not, don't worry about it. (Incidentally, a great chance to get the Blast Radius, or some such, trophy for killing three guys with one explosion.) You can hold your ground for a bit where you are (watch the rooftop across the way though), but if too many approach you then you may need to run. Check your visor for tactical options and you'll see a suggestion for Stealth. Turn invisible, then follow up on that. You won't be pursued there, so it's a good fallback position. Pick off as many as you can, then retreat back here. Run back and forth between the two openings, hopping out and taking down a couple before retreating. You might also opt to snipe the gunner in a truck instead of blowing it, then sneak up and take the truck. Draws a lot of fire though. The top of the opposite building can be reached by jumping up the scaffold nearby. Likely run you out of energy though. Still, if you can get there, then you can bypass a lot of enemies.

| Yes I am using stealth lol.
The Nova is the pistol right? I've been having a decent amount of success though with a silenced Scarab with the reflex sight.
The part I was stuck at was where you're on the docks and have to get into Gould's building and destroy his computer. Lab Rat was the title of that mission I believe.
One nitpick I have is that I dislike how they automatically disengage the cloak when you go in for a stealth kill. That's gotten me noticed a few times by someone across the map. |

| Well, even if they didn't see you, they'd still see their buddy suddenly turn his head the wrong way and collapse. Yeah, the Nova is the pistol. Scarab's good too, but I tend to run with it unsilenced and just use the Nova as a second weapon, purely for stealth. Ah. The docks didn't give me much trouble. Of course, I didn't really bother with stealth either on that part. I just picked up a sniper rifle and went to town until I ran out of ammo, then made my way to the center building and held them off there for a bit. If I recall correctly, you can stealthily jump into the water and then climb up the dock on the center building to more easily get in there. |
