Shoulder switch isnt for everyone but it helped me alot and still does . Anyway its entirely your choice fawlty , dont let us bully you into a style you dont feel comfortable with . I will look into that cinema soon btw .

I'm not at all trying to put you down or make you feel at all bad about yourself but don't get an ego. This game WILL let you down if you do. It doesn't matter how good you are. You'll have a game that makes you want to quit forever, it's just a fact. The best thing you can do is give yourself a break. I'm just looking out for you man.

True. Don't get down on your self. Be happy that you got a fury. Just don't go into a match thinking "Wow a bunch of 30's" or "I just went 17-3" because you can just as easily go 3-17.

Ok i see what you mean , fear not silver ! . Level certainly doesnt mean skill , especially with the lag in this game . There are alot of low levels that are easily better than me theres no doubt about it . But that gives you incentive to do better and improve your game . The highs can quickly turn to lows in this game but if you keep trying you can get sweet revenge . There is seriously nothing better than having a great game if your last 10 have been awful matches . I think we all have had first hand experience with that .

It is a sad thing really that great players like you silver have stopped playing simply because of reasons you cannot control . I dont blame you . Ill try not fall into the trap youve been describing .

Despite going negative in some games, I'd say you have improved heaps aswell.
Alot of the deaths you got were just utterly ridiculous and I honestly felt for you, but I was also quite busy letting the world know how I felt about the lag too.

Yeah, I know, I just meant that alot of the deaths you got were due to lag in game or just other related random bullcrap.
Like the one on the Lost City for me; I ran up one of the staircases and somehow, dude could punch me from the bottom......
Or when I sprayed a good amount of AK rounds in a dudes face only to have him shoot me in my pinkytoe and punch my left leg......

Yes, sending them to my Flames account would be rather swell
If you had planned on being on anything today, I could try and make time for it so we can get a few games in aswell, if you want that is.

My best advice to give you right off the bat, without seeing your gameplay is so take it nice and slowly and don't force anything.
Remember to have fun during the process of the progression you'll be making.
Also, even if you find which way you wanna go in terms of gameplay (usage of weapons, paths to take on the maps etc) do work on EVERYTHING.
Being a versatile player pays off more than you would assume in this game.
You want to sort of know what to expect from FAL campers, SA melee abusers, bunny hoppers etc.

But, as mentioned, take it slowly and enjoy the game.

I want to hopefully have some good games today , had some horrible games last 2 days . That match I sent you reo was my breakthrough . I keep getting hit from behind and killed while I'm shooting someone else , is there a way to reduce this happening ? , also should I burst fire in 1 vs 1 ak battles .

Great question Mitch as this accounts for many of my deaths. Often times I get shot from behind on my blindside. Probably due to the fact my sound is turned down and I can't hear them behind me. I really try and make use of my camera but it always seems I pan around and then setup shot to shoot someone and then that's when they appear. Is there a way to minimize this or is it actually a case of choosing your gunning spots more carefully (i.e. having your back to the wall)?

I should be on for a few hours tonight so hopefully we can all get some matches in!

Okay fawlty , here we go

0:35-0:40 , good kill but you were a bit slow , i wouldve rolled away from the wall before shooting so you are quicker

1:00 , you stuck around a bit which made you a target . Unless your a reasonable camper try and be on the move most of the match , this lessens your chance from being hit from the backside like you were, still unlucky though .

1:50 , good evasion and waitingto return fire

2:33 , your camera wasnt aimed at where the enemy could come from and thats why you were surprised . Allways be ready going up these stairs or similar cramped places .

3:20 , I wouldve stuck around a little more to see where that stray grenade came from , chances are you couldve gotten a surprise kill

3:43 , this was unlucky , checking a bit more thoroughly wouldve helped but unlucky nethertheless

4:09 , unlucky death but i wouldve dropped down , you were asking for a grenade

5:05 , unlucky killsteal

5:30 , another killsteal but dont switch shoulders while firing , only when going around corners

6:00 , good use of cover and kill

6:22 , you were lucky to survive that but good kill abd readyness , again , dont swithc shoulders while gunning

7:40 , you couldve avoided this by being quicker and ready .

All in all you have the basics in being ready round corners and using your ears . You need to be more accurate and quick as 1 second too late could mean the difference between life and death in this game . But that comes with practise and time . Good to see your looking for ways to bank your grenades . You really need to be more mobile though , you kept stoping and hanging around when you didnt need to . You went 3-5 but you couldve just as easily have gone 5-3 , it may take some time but youlll get there

was he strafing while he did the shoulder switches, Mitch? If so then it might not have been his fault, he might have been pressing the left analog stick too hard, I do that a fair amount of times myself, just needs to learn to hold his controller more lightly, something I have yet to learn how to do myself

Yeah I really should get a mic...this hunt and peck typing to people takes me forever! I would much rather there be a chatroom of some sort on here that those of us without mics could use to communicate between matches.

I suppose I should just invest in the mic sooner rather than later...

Edit: I'd also like to vent my frustrations about the cinema's and how there is no info to tell you how well you actually did overall. Only way to tell is to watch the whole thing - and even then if you're fast forwarding and you don't slow it down in time it will start over before you can see your score! I guess I'm learning more and more each day! hahah

There actually is. Hit the PS button on your controller, go to Friends, and select Chatroom, then Text Chat, Start New Chat, and invite the friends you wish to join. If you want to feel like rejoining a Chat at anytime, go to the Chatroom, and there should be all of the other Chatrooms that you have been in before in a list. All you have to do is select them to rejoin them.

And as far as the mic goes, I would visit Best Buy and get one of those $20 USB mics. They are very efficient, and are cheap.

Hey Charlitos I was actually thinking about something on the computer rather than something on the PS3...my problem being that I can't type that fast on the PS3....although I could always get a USB keyboard to use for typing I think.

So in terms of a mic you're saying get a mic with a cord? Like a headset...instead of something bluetooth?

GGs today vrals , i havnt been playing that great lately , my only good game was that 11-4 on the fort , im just really good on that map , im better on the more simple maps like temple , fort and trainwreck , suck at the ice cave , lost city and sanctuary

I knew you were going to get a good game in once I saw that we were playing on the Fort, I'm good on pretty much every map other than the Train Wreck, the snow just affects me too much
