Had some more fairly positive games tonight , didn't have as much time after spending 1 1/2 hours on economics homework .
Had an epic moment on the second part of airstrip today , got shot at the backside till I was in the deep grey and than proceeded to outstrafe 2 guys together and then kill a 3rd for another tripled .

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed not as many people using power weapons now , I'm always finding heaps of them at their spawns .
I thought more people would be around , nearly 2 days without partying up , it's so lonely in the lobby

Reo, the shotty is weird in this one. Yes, it's been nerfed in a way, but they've also tightened up its point-blank blindfire, such that one doesn't have to deal with that "fire your shotgun at point-blank range and somehow miss" garbage that was all too prominent in U2. You know what I'm talking about, right? In Uncharted 2, the shotty's blindfire was really unreliable, even at close ranges, and there was always that risk that it would miss for no reason and you'd get steel fisted for your trouble.

In the Beta, they've severely nerfed the range and the rate of fire, but since I don't really need the range (not planning on cross-mapping anyone with it), and since I don't need the rate of fire as much (blindfire is reliable enough that I don't need a second chance that high rate of fire would grant), I think I'm actually okay with how they handled it. I just wish it were a tad more common.

Oh, then I'm SO gonna pick up the shotty more often.
At U2 I actually AVOIDED it at all cost, mainly since I usually had to actually aim with it to get kills with it, unlike how everyone else was doing it.

Mitchell, I have no idea how many members from 6th you have on your friendslist, but I usually see Static, Super_Dragon and Bruja online. Occasionally I'll see Silver, Leo and Turtle playing aswell.
And yeah, I'm online playing a fair share too.

However, I haven't seen Raist online.....why are you avoiding me, my dearest Cam?!

Played a few games today, only level 3 so far. Still as crappy as ever and haven't had a game yet where my kills are greater than my deaths. I'm staying positive though and I'm really excited for this game and the possibilities of awesome gameplay with everyone!

is that what that was? You kept shooting me in the back with the sniper every time we were stuck on seige. it wouldnt kill me, but it would take down my health all the way, and the AI was finishing me off. guess you went from TK to TA

The actual culprit was (as ALWAYS) the one and only - Static the Teamkiller.

on a slightly related note, I really want to play with someone from here that is decent at the game and has a mic in some 3 team DM. I played a bunch with ham, but as he didnt use his mic it was really annoying (he was pretty good though)

If I'm on and available, send me a message and we can do some 3TDM's.
I do have a mic and might I add that my voice has satisfied many frisky pirates over the years.

Also, did they remove 3TDM? Because I don't see it on the list. It seems to have been replaced with Objectives.



Mind you, Objective matches are much more fun than they were in U2, but I still think I liked 3TDM better.
