| I know that the Wii gets little attention, especially these days, but I'm curious as to how many other people on Sixth have gotten into the CoD series on the Wii. I know, I know. Why bother getting it for the Wii when it comes out on such better systems. My only answer, and solely my opinion, is for the motion control. PS3 has made some advances with the Move and FPS, but Activision has of yet to push motion control on anything but the Wii. I think that there's nothing as satisfying (as far as FPS go) than pointing at someone, pulling that trigger and watching them fall.
I decided to get MW3 on the Wii (though, I might eventually pick it up for the PS3 so that I can run with my clan buddies). While it obviously lacks a few of the things that are on the major consoles, it really carries its own. Just like BO, MW3 on the Wii is missing very little. My only hope is that they actually give us DLC when it come out.
So, is there anyone else here that likes their CoD on the Wii? |

| I have COD"World at War" on the Wii and Ps3.TBH the Wii can't hold a candle to the Ps3. It is missing whole parts of the campaigns and the graphics and sound can't compare. At one time it was my only copy and I enjoyed it tho. |

| Always hating on the Wii. Yeah, WaW couldn't hold up to the other consoles, but back when I first got it, I didn't have any other system and it was awesome. Each additional CoD they put out on the Wii just keeps getting better and better.
And, I'd have to disagree with BO missing too much content. I'm comparing it to previous versions on the Wii only, and when taking that into account, BO Wii really had a good run. I still enjoyed Reflex better, though, despite the hit marker lag (aim 3 feet in front of them and you're golden. lol).
The Wii can't handle some of the stuff that's on the other systems, that's a fact, but graphics are the least of my worries. I've found, beyond the first wow factor of the game, one seems to forget about any such graphical differences. I've played all the CoD's on both the Wii and PS3, and in the end you really don't notice the difference. Everyone will disagree with this, but then again, not many people have actually put in any time on the Wii to make comparisons.
In the end, though, the only reason I enjoy my CoD on the Wii is simply because of the motion control. |

| Ichabod sorry to be such a hater. I did play through WaW at least 3 times maybe more on the Wii. I really did enjoy it. I did like it more on the PS3 I have to be honest. For some reason my ADS was way better with the PS3 too. But Zelda !!!!! is coming to the Wii soon !!! and I love that franchise. |

In the end, though, the only reason I enjoy my CoD on the Wii is simply because of the motion control. No one is hating on the Wii. Just stating facts. Wii can not come close to competing with sound and graphics as the home consoles. You can say this without even playing the game, the system just can't do it. Count in the fact that games like COD: BLOPS have a chunk of campaign missing, you can tell the developers just put in more time for the home consoles. Some people (like me) don't like sacrificing gameplay for motion control. |

| LOL, I was just teasing with the hater comment. But, I was trying to make a point that people put too much emphasis on those aspects of the game that are forgotten within a relatively short time of play, like graphics and sound. Both of those, while immediately impressive, is not what continues to hold onto an audience. Like I've said, I've put some time into both systems (PS3 and Wii) and have found that when playing, I seem to lose any perception of difference between the two. Absence of game is a BIG factor, though. On BO I didn't mind that much, because ever since WaW, the single player experience has been pretty Blah. Just feels like the same linear, shoot this guy, hold this spot for a hot minute drall that's fairly common with all FPS. But, now a days its all about online play. Like MW3 that I just picked up. I have yet to play the single player. In the end, though, for me its a balance of what I'm going to lose, and what's important to me. Just like how everyone else makes their decisions. Motion control isn't what most people look for, and so the Wii version is pointless as they would be missing out on content. For me, the content on the PS360 doesn't even compare in the slightest to the enjoyment I get out of getting the drop on those damn corner campers with my Wiimote. It's all about experience, and for me the Wii grants a better FPS experience due to the realism of the controls, not to mention the accuracy of the controls (but that's another discussion all together. lol) Again, I was just joking about the hater comment. I know that most people feel the Wii is a worthless system, and I completely agree that it is underpowered in this gen of systems, but it still has value. |

| Lol, np. It's nearly impossible to portray things like sarcasm and such in writing. I find myself over using "lol" and emoticons to at least get close to letting others know I'm just joshing or trying to have a good-hearted conversation. I probably should of thrown a few up there in that post. |

| End a post with /sarcasm. Or start thinking that every post ends with /sarcasm. Even the serious ones. Although the second one can get you in more trouble. "My puppy died, is sad." *Automactically see's /sarcasm that isn't there* "LOLS!" |

| Only problem with COD:3 on Wii is when you're in those scripted melee scenes and you've gotta push the Wiimote and Nunchuck against the enemy and by the time you've re-started a billion times and finally killed him, your arms have flung off across the room . |

| Really wanted MW:R but it still cost a ridicoulous amount of money for a game that old, been waiting for a price drop for over *checks watch* two years and counting... So i have stayed with Goldeneye for my Wii FPS needs |
