So I fired the game back up, and switched to the Republic. I'm playing a Trooper Commando on the "Prophecy of the Five" server, and having a blast.

Now that free transfers are available for selected servers, there are more heavily populated servers, and more to do/more people to group with. The last patch added a group finder and works really well.
