DLC to be released for the PlayStation 3
Bethesda Softworks Europe announced that new downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 version of Fallout 3 will be released beginning late June. Operation: Anchorage will be the first one released, followed by the release of The Pitt and Broken Steel 4-6 weeks apart. In addition, a new update will be released for PS3 that will allow users to download and play the new DLC. On the Xbox 360 front, two new DLC will arrive late June and during July. Point Lookout will let you explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content, while Mothership Zeta will let you experience an alien abduction first hand. Both will be available for 800 Microsoft Points. Last but not least, new retail products will be available, so check the press release for details.

If for whatever reason you don't want to get the DLC, but do want the new Fallout 3 content, you'll be happy to hear that a GotY edition that includes it all is scheduled for release 10/13/09. I plan to rebuy myself as my copy is getting a little worn. If anyone's interested, but hasn't picked this one up I highly recommend it.

Just remembered that the internet is open to many countries. Go figure. So if you see me post a release date its for North America, but if in the future I can find others I'll either post them or drop a link to the site where I found it.

i still have not finish this game

im playing on very easy and i cant get pass 5 or 6 alien guys with 1 bullet and 1 mine

I haven't played it since the week after I got it in January.

Bethesda had originally said June to July for PS3 release, but who knows. What they did say is that ALL of the expansions/DLC's available on PC and XBox will also be released for PS3. The one that's down in the South looks pretty badass...nothing like putting a cap into the head of a mutant hillbilly!!!

I'm pretty sure Xboxers already have BOTH of those DLC add ons and have had them for a while now, so that means they are getting 2 brand spanking new DLC add ons while we are just now getting their old one...

"I do have good news! We have decided that Broken Steel will be the first release since it is easily the most requested DLC from our fans. Broken Steel allows you to continue playing the game after completing the Main Quest, raises the level cap to 30, and includes 4-6 hours of additional gameplay. It is also the one DLC that requires you to finish the Main Quest from the game to play the new content. Regardless of whether you’ve completed the Main Quest, the level cap will already be raised and higher level characters will begin encountering some of the new enemies in the Capital Wasteland. For the release of Broken Steel and the other DLCs, we’ll release a new update for the game."


And that, my friends, makes me a very happy person.

I haven't killed everyone yet thankfully. I can't wait to go on a killing spree once Broken Steel comes out though.

Agreed. I got my Platinum (finally) so I'm pretty burnt out on the main game, the DLC should be fun.

Finished my platinum and just waiting on the DLC.

Went back to Oblivion in the mean time
