speculation (plural speculations)

I like them, i say "Speculate" on some occasions. Like, "look at this massively annoying stupid post, care to "speculate" on it?"

Yep, they will keep pumping out COD’s as long as they make money. However, MW3 may not be developed by Infinity Ward. Rumor is that IW is making a new IP and another dev is taking over MW.

Treyarch will continue to make COD on the off years. I think Vietnam is next and will probably be out next Xmas.

Now, Throwing Knifes are silent, so if you use em on a "stealth" class it'll help, but if you miss, if it hits the ground after missing, it makes a bang or clanging type sound if it hits somewhere near your target.

I just dislike running around only knifing people cuz I'm already aware I'm not a good player at this game but I do even worse when I just try to only knife people I fare even worse, so I guess I'm not much of a knife only player.

I also dislike the throwing knife because when I used it I'll usually miss, and then get killed while standing there attempting to pick the knife back up, but it's so much more satisfying to get Semtex sticks to me so I'll just keep using those :]

I dunno how you'd be able to shotgun swap though, for my sniper class I've got the Striker as my shotgun. Ask Leo about that thing lol. I'm sure he can tell you the stories.

Also one more thing: I recorded my first video and I'm uploading it onto the computer from the camera, once I get it all edited and uploaded on YouTube I'll be posting that in the Dr. Newbie's Game Surgery (or whatever it's called) thread. I only have one for now but it will probably be the first of a few.

Well, it looks like my online gaming career is now at an end.

I just put in my MW2 disc and nothing happened. I took it out and noticed it has a very small crack in the spindle hole with a dent that could become a crack radiating out to a distance of about 0.75 cm. The upshot of this is that the PS3 refuses to load the game. And MW2 showed me how smooth and lag free an online game can be (R2's framerate gives me a headache now and the R2 lag makes it unplayable for me 8 times out of 10). I can't see me picking R2 back up again (for reasons just stated) and R:FoM is just not an option any more. So that's it. Shame; it was a fun game that I was really starting to enjoy.

I guess I could play LBP online.

Then again, maybe not.

Oh, and in case anyone thinks I am using some subtle irony or reverse psychology, here's a smiley to back it up:

I agree with Jon, just go buy a new copy of the game.

But, if you just don't want to spend that kind of money on it after it broke on you, then I could understand that. Maybe check the bargain bin, or pick up a copy when the price drops?

I hear ya, one of the biggest reasons R2 was my first real shooter game was because I borrowed my brother-in-law's R:FOM and cracked the disk. The damn things get nice and snug in those cases sometimes.

These other guys posted in the time it took me to reply. I was essentially saying the same thing, but implying that by the way you said your gaming career was over because it was broken, you must be completely unable to replace it. Meaning all of England must only have the one copy.

I take car of them too. I was very careful to remove the disc and put it back in the box each time I finished playing. I do take god care of my stuff. Heck, my microwave is 23 years old and our washing machine is still going strong after nearly 20 years. Even all my old 5.25" floppy discs are still good.

Nor am I. That's why I almost always wait until a game's been out for a while before I pick it up. Example, Batman: Arkham Asylum came out at about $60 over here. I waited until just recently to get it and picked it up for a little less than half price from Game Stop, with an extra 10% off the price from my Edge card.
