Gameplay in MP is NOTHING like it is in other modes. Good stuff all around, though.

P.S. I picked up the PS3 bluetooth headset and got it registered with the console. However, I can't seem to use it in-game. Any suggestions?

Than its not just me. I got a new blue tooth for Christmas and judging only on this game thought it was broke or something cause it never works. Ive been forced into using an old and touchy wired headset that will only work if I hold the cord juuuuuuuuust right.
Its a pain.

This game and all its unlocks and perks Ive found it tough to give any real advise in it. Id say just play around with what ya got until you get comfortable with one of your fav. guns. I haven't used anything since I unlocked the M16 and even though I know there are combos out there that may work better for me why fix what isnt broke? As Leo was just saying if ya play around too much, you just only throw yourself off. Gotta find a comfort zone with a weapon and just go.

@ wad and any else reading, if anything is ever too spammy in any of the threads or you feel something needs some attention, pm a mod or admin and we will glady come take care of it. I want everyone to feel at home and have their posts be able to be read. There is also the report feature which will alert any of us by e mail even if we are not here atm these infractions transpire.

caffeine helps.. lmao.. the hyponess makes me more aware of my surroundings?

I need 1 more bullet penetration kill with my barrett and then i get my extended mags. Ohh and i got red tiger for it to.

also, my last match was on quarry, when i joined, i killed 3 people, activated UAV, then another 2, then predator missile, then killed 2 with predator and got my attack heli, bad thing is someone was always ready to blow up my heli . I got 2 UAV's, 2 Predator Missile, 2 Helis, 24 kills, 2 bullet penetration kills and a game winning kill. so much fun.

Wasteland- best sniping spots are not in the grass.....

It's OK Jag. I won't be able to play till like Thursday or Friday though. Rather busy all day tomorrow.

As for when I play best, it's never I must sadly say. I only do well about once ever 50 games when something in the stars aligns and I can actually do decent in a game. I'm trying to do what everybody told me in the Dr. Newbie's Game Surgery thread but I just can't improve. I think it's about time for me to call it quits.

wasteland is one of the worst maps for sniping imo

I usually don't see many snipers on Wasteland, usually people just going around spamming noob tubes everywhere.

i don't think sniping is worth it a good assualt rifle will beat the best sniper in most cases

Skidrow today was awesome. Sniping the tunnel me got 3 kill's 1 shot. Then me ran away just as the tubes came flying. Me moved to the park and aimed down to the forks, lined up a sniper and shot BOOM double kill (apparently there were sniper on sniper action that me ruined).
After that me climbed the stairs at the tunnel side and saw a dude running at me through the hallway so me shot him revealing that 2 others were following him and said hello to me bullet as well.
32-3 that game.

I snipe on Wasteland and i normally come first. Also, i did the OMA glitch on wasteland once, everyone died everytime they spawned, i was spawn camping .

Ohh... btw: F2000 has very high recoil, it's pissing me off. I shoot 3 bullets at someone long range, they turn around and BAM! they kill me. I have the RDS for it though, that's one part of the F2000 i like, the Scope Styled RDS.

I was doing Demolition on highrise earlier today, And the spot were most people come to is where you can get collateral kills, so i ran to the collateral kill area at the start of the game, entire enemy team were just lined up while running, i quickly stop, aim, shoot, and.... i missed, i could've gotten a 4 in 1 kill but some other guy magically saw me without using thermal and killed me, As i saw in killcam, him and his teammates all were lined up. I got pissed, to make up for it, i got my heli to destroy them, didnt work they ended up getting a harrier to attack my heli, my heli lost

Ohh... normally, harrier's versus attack helis whilst battling with missiles, the harrier normally win, not today, Someone on my team got a harrier, then the intercom guy said " enemy cobra inbound ". I was like ohh shit because this one guy got 5 cobra's or hind's every match, anyway, the harrier turned and the heli turned and started shooting, heli won the battle because a AT4-HS missile hit the harrier, so much win.

AC130's piss me off, i destroyed one today and was so proud

seriously, its bright as.. so the enemy spots it.. then they just camp around it and pray someone kills you..

It looks like Bonestorm has made his presence known. Everyone, thats a friend of Jon and mine. He's been away from controller playing counterstrike for, oh, five years? Anyway, finally got himself a ps3 and we convinced him to get MW2 after some spec ops fun prior to the Saints game last weekend. Anywho, if you happen to see him on, shoot him an invite, he needs some practice


Also, ggs to everyone I got to play some games with. Anyone else just laugh when some idiot runs around using super soldier or nothing but double shottys and then calls us the worst clan ever? Kills me, they're so into themselves.

And Six, glad you joined our game tonight. Helped me get my friends ready for mp much better. Sorry about the end, we'd been wanting to play some spec ops, then remembered its hard to do without both people having mics.

I almost had a 20 kill streak yesterday, but ofcourse my skill or should I say, lack thereof, got the best of me.

My highest is eleven. I've only gotten that twice, I think, and the first time was long before I had a kill streak reward that high available.

Nuh-uh, just honest. If you could check my stats screen you could see that my highest is 11. I've been a chopper gunner twice, and an AC130 pilot once, both through care packages. I often get up to 5 in my kill streaks, but not much beyond. It seems to be a theme of mine in shooters. Often times I can get a ton of kills, but not without almost as many deaths. Lately I've been on a bit of a high note with scores like 28-13 or so, and one uncharacteristically played game ending in 15-3. Got me my Star Player challenge for having a 5.0 k/d for one match. Sadly, my actual k/d is about .86 I think. My R2 k/d never got too awful much past 1.6 I believe. I do my best work in objective based games. My ability to get points usually outranks my ability to get kills by a fair margin.

Maybe its because you spend too much time on U2, newb. :o

Haven't played it in months, actually. Been meaning to get some more in though. Just have so many other games occupying my attention.

Yeah, same here, just bought me U2(finally) and a new blue PS3 Dualshock. Now I have no moneyz.

The important thing is that you got something blue.
Oh, and I just remembered that you can check my stats. Just look under Barracks, then Leaderboards, then Kills. Gives totals, k/d, and highest streak for all your friends. I was wrong. Mine's .84
Imma chalk a lot of that up to learning to play this game series. Yeah, that sounds like a good excuse. Let's go with that.
