| Steam deck Yes? No? Which one? Reservations have opened now, those with an active Steam account can pre-book now, those creating one just to order will be able to do so tomorrow. There's a £4/$4 (?) fee, refundable, to book into the pre-order list. Console will be out Spring 2022 and they will send emails for purchase in the same order they have received the bookings. So if it's a maybe, pre-book and think about it nearer the time. The fee will be refunded into Steam credit if you leave it for later or full refund into your payment method if within 30 days.
So... How much storage you reckon I need to play all Witcher games there? Prices go from £350, £460 and £570 depending on internal storage. |

| A quick bit of searching comes up with this: Witcher 1 is 15 GB. Witcher 2 is 25 GB. Witcher 3 is 35ish BG. Looks like you'd need the middle option at the least. I don't know that I will get a Steam Deck anytime soon. I love the portability of my Switch, and play it all the time. When I first saw one, I was like, "I'm never taking that off the dock." And no I never even play it on there. But I already have a PC for my Steam games, and none in particular need to be taken mobile. I'm also worried about how well many games not designed for controller will handle. So, while I may get one down the road, I'm not in any hurry. Still need to get a PS5 for that matter. |

| We hardly play the switch off the docking station, but it's mostly the kids who are playing it. We do have a PS5 but I was tempted by the idea of playing at work during office hours |

| Props to steam for going at the big boy of handhelds. Because I don't play PC games though I dont think I'll be getting it. That could change, the form factor is impressive. We have a switch that my wife plays and I do every once in awhile (not often) but I feel I would actually play more PC games on this than I would play Nintendo games on the switch. |

| Unfortunate, but not too surprising. Supply lines are all over the place these days. |

| Received my purchase to ship email today. I think most people have been receiving their Steam Decks within 2-3 weeks after getting the email. It’s almost here !!! |
