| Hold on... you never used M16+ACOG before? Then how did you know the heat sensing sight was any good? You don't unlock that until you get 20 kills looking down the ACOG. |

I have 2 accounts. On my primary I have unlocked almost all weapons/sights. (dont care about stats, will play around with different guns) On my Sponge account I have only unlocked a certain few. Trying to keep my K/D respectable. lol |

| Actually, no as his original post doesn't have it: it got changed when you quoted him. But it's whoever claims it over on the RWoTD thread that actually wins. |

| Ok, so I just tried M-16 with thermal scope and Stopping Power Pro again. And I have to say: wow!
Trouble is, I just tried a game with my red-dotted ACR and I couldn't hit a thing. In two rounds of using the thermal I became reliant on its magnification. Got two 5-kill streaks with it, but missed with the Predator both times so wasn't able to build them up to a Harrier before I got shot. |

| Geez, sorry about those horrible games last night Dingo. That sucked. Whole clans that super soldiered and noob tubed and wouldn't die. Probably five games and I may have been in the negative overall.
I should be on a lot tomorrow. Have off of work and the wife and baby are heading to the in-laws for the day. If anyone gets a chance, I should be on for a good amount. |

Eat if you're liking the M16, then I'd suggest you try the FAMAS. I find the M16 is usually two-three bursts to the body for a kill, FAMAS is one-two, depending on the host/lag. It also seems to have better accuracy and less recoil than the M16. My FAMAS class - Scavenger, Stopping Power, and Ninja...keep stopping power on there no matter what, but you can swap out the first and last perks for whatever you prefer. As for Thermals...I don't find them effective on assault rifles, myself, but they work well with sniper rifles. |

| Thanks, Pineapple. Regarding the M16-Thermal combo, I have been trying it again this evening and have this to say: O M G !!! I had Sleight of Hand, Stopping power, and Ninja equipped and in my first game (Scrapyard) I got 4 kills in the first 10 seconds. I was about to get my Predator when i got double teamed from behind. I have to say, the thermal sight is just really doing it for me. (Except on Estate. But I ALWAYS suck on Estate). I was getting everybody in 1 or 2 bursts. SoP gave me instant quick scope ability and the thermal sight helped me to see targets I would normally have missed. WOW!!!! Sponge, I love you for suggesting it. Now I might go and dig out the old Famas and see what happens. |

It is. But practice with the Red Dot first to get a feel for the weapon. |

| I'd have to use the RDS in the first place if I eventually want the later stuff. What's a good ACR setup Sponge? I love that one myself, and would like to know the best way to utilize it. |
