| Can be. I think it's a couple of things. You don't have to worry about team coordination against you. Camping, yeah, but not a Team camping you. Plus, it's part of the mentality. No one has your back, so whether or not you're aware of it, your reaction is slightly heightened and you're a bit more aware. With a team mate at your back you might relax a bit. |

The matchmaker puts you with people of closer ping level, something it can't do when matching parties of differing connection rates. |

"Do well" is different than "do well & WIN". There are different pros & cons to each mode. For instance, in TDM you can use your teammates as meat shields & enemy position indicators. You can also get gang banged, however. In FFA, you have to rely on your own senses & radar awareness may be a bit more important. Speed seems to be rewarded a bit more, as well. There's also no real spawn camping in FFA. You can "monitor" it, but just setting yourself up in basically one place won't work indefinitely. People will come get you &/or you may be back-spawned. Also, revenge spawns are much more prevalent in FFA. (>_<) Being paranoid is very advantageous in the mode. There is more. My 2 cents. |

Depends if you're in a decent party or not. Here's why I really dislike merc TDM's: - Spoiler:

Maybe you are getting better/good? (^_-)b Which map, strat, loadout? Loadout: TAR w/silencer, Marathon Pro, Stopping Power Pro, Ninja Pro, + Claymore, Killstreaks: UAV, Predator, Harrier Map: Rundown Strat: Follow the action. Started out in the jungle half of the village then concentrated mostly on the central building with the mini-gun. Kept going in the far end in the house by the central ditch and running back and forth getting people as they came in. |

Silenced TAR with SP is an insane weapon. |

...and we lost. TDM's in a party are great...solo - not so much. smilar thing happened to me today. went 25-6 and we still lost. i managed to get my chopper gunner for the first time since unlocking it last time i was on. i got a 22 kill streak in that go after i started 0-4 and brought my team back from 2 kills down to 10 above about mid way through the game. it was something like 6500 to 5000 and somehow we still lost. we only needed 10 kills |

That happened to me too a couple of games later, but one bad game doesn't nullify all the good ones. [quote="redhamuSLA"][quote="eattheword"][quote="redhamuSLA"] - eattheword wrote:

Seems to work well, though I find I use less ammo with the UMP. My aim tends to drift a bit, so a lot of deaths come down to the other guy just being a better shot. That and Super Soldiers. |

| lol my accuracy is horrid. if i dont manage to get the initial shot, im probably not going to get the kill i tend to do ok most of the time. those super soldiers an OMA guys are the worst to deal with |

It wouldn't, you're correct, but that's the result about 80% of the time. |
