I always get "contacting servers" as soon as I login, but very rare I get kicked.
They really need to sort their servers out.

Oh, Porks. There *has* to be a trade-off at some point. The game just can't handle constantly getting bigger and more bloated. We do not want a PS4/5 that is essentially a full 500GB Destiny 2 machine.

What we're losing is *just* Tangled Shore, Forsaken Campaign (which, let's face it, no one who isn't new has run in ages, and is going FTP from Dec-Feb 22), Presage, and Harbinger. Not Dreaming City or any raids or strikes. Spider's stuff is being moved to Rahool, the Vanguard strike list is getting some new blood by integrating Battlegrounds. Frankly, I'd love it if they would roll Nightmare and Empire Hunts into it as well.

Nope, not a fan of this vaulting stuff. 
Have you seen the prices of the upcoming stuff, plus extras, my ass. Old raids, old D2 pvp maps, old D1 pvp maps... old, old, old. 
If you don't but the DLC, what's left of what has been paid for already. Meh

I mean, I get the *why*. I barely have enough room for what I have now.. which isn't a lot.

unfortunately it became laggy (for me at least) ever since the entire bedrock transition thing

Pork, as of yet I don't believe that anything that has returned from D1 or early D2 has required any payment to play. You're only paying for new stuff. The returning maps and raids have all been available to FTP players. The closest thing to paying for old content is this Forsaken pack that is apparently going to be on offer to let you get that era's exotics (and if you own the content already you get it free). Yeah, that really should just have been rolled into the loot pool.

Unless I'm missing something, which is entirely possible.  What have they taken away and then sold back?

Minecraft isn't anywhere close to as large as a game like D2, Beans.  
Minecraft with everything that's been done to it from start to now has a file size of 2 GB.  
Destiny 2 *after* the vaulting is 71GB and slated to hit 100GB with Witch Queen, I believe.

Yeah, that sums it up pretty good, Porky. Destiny should absolutely just come out and say it's a subscription game, and optimally use that to pay for the servers to keep that content on instead of relying on P2P connections. If they moved this model after Lightfall or just made Destiny 3 and switched to it, I would be extremely happy. Time will tell, I guess.
