| This is looking pretty nice, and definitely much better than I had hoped. I'm assuming we're all pretty much jumping ship and heading to this, once it drops?
I'll have to ponder on picking it up, but all these videos are wearin' me down. MAG's got my attention now, I'll see how I feel closer to release. |

| I'm seeing Ballistic-knife abuse featuring heavily in this game... You thought Commando Pro was bad? I'll hold off until at least the first patch I think. |

| It looks so darned good that I'm going to hold off buying it, full stop. I already find MW2 too addictve, and Black Ops looks a gazillion times better. Apart from the ballistic knife. |

| Not a video but it looks like QS is out for Black Ops. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]During a impromptu Q&A session on Twitter last night, Treyarch’s Josh “JD2020″ Olin scuppered the hopes of all those that planned on using their ‘l33t Quickscoping skillZ’ in Black Ops. Treyarch don’t like Quickscoping and think FPS games should be “played straight-up”, thus, not only making Sleight of Hand Pro not work with Sniper Riles, but specifically gimping the ability to Quickscope in Black Ops. | Woo-hoo! Making kills require skill is a step in the right direction, that's for certain. Now, if we can just get them to make Scavenger exclude noob tubes... |

| Why is it good that quickscoping is being thrown out again? I don't think I really ran across it that much other than one of my cousins talking trash about it one time, so I don't know too much about it. |

| QS was never really a skill. It was about timing and using the auto aim to your advantage. I know that I posted about how to QS a long time ago.
For whatever reason, it became a fad recently (more on the 360 than the ps3). Little 15 year olds with stupid names trying to sell it as skill and talking down to anybody that sniped normal. I think it just became an overdone nuisance.
I think you will still be able to get quick snipes off but they wont be at the same level as just running around and flicking your stick for kills.

QFT It's basically just pointing in someone's general direction, tapping the Aim button, then pressing the fire button and hoping that the auto-aim put the bullet in them. I've seen kill cams where the so-called quickscoper takes as many as 6 shots just to get a kill on a nearly stationary target. |

| Well, I don't know if I'd go quite that far. I don't use it myself (except the Stinger, but that doesn't count as it's AA only), but launchers do have their place. Mostly used for breaking campsites and flushing people out of cover. Good against snipers hiding in hard to reach places that a grenade might not make it to. However, their presence in MW2 was far too great. Simply limiting how much they could be used would have made the whole game better. Personally, I liked how R2 did it. The LAARK and Pulse Cannon were there, but as berserks. You had to rack up numerous kills (15, I think. Been a while.) to earn them. Sort of like they're doing with the Valkyrie killstreak in Black Ops. Hmm... Say, guys. How are we gonna abbreviate Black Ops? We can't just call it BO (unless it turns out that it stinks ) So, what's it gonna be? BOps? CoDBO? |
