We've played in some terrible Plunders.

One comes to mind, that was right after the update, with the new medals. They were pretty low leveled, so it's understandable, but we went as far as taking the treasure, and putting it up into their base, only for it to respawn. The one time they did manage to grab the treasure, they carried it towards our base, not their own.

We tried to help, aqua can vouch. He thought it'd be hilarious if they won, especially as a low-level crew, against whatever other numerals we were running with. Fishing, and his crew, I think.

I like how you guys were coaching though. Classy for sure.

In other news, the lag was pretty terrible this morning... Not only was there a second or second and a half pause before the kill registered but the death animation was in slow motion as well. I assume it's some way of the network catching everything up or something, but it was hilarious! Just like everyone was 'Hamming up' their part... "Oh, Daphne... He got me, Daphne... Ooh, Ah, Ooh, Ooh, Ah... Tell the children I will miss them, Daphne, terribly, terribly so."

I finally got my Kill/Death ratio upto 1.00 I can finally say "I give as good as i get"

I've never been one for following stats or caring much about K/D, but that has always been like a personal milestone in any FPS I've played... Like you say, it shows you give as good as you get.

Some interesting games this morning. I got locked into a lobby with a party of three players from the same clan, despite being quite high level they didn't seem to know the game well at all, we kept ending up on the same side and getting owned... I only had about 20 minutes of play this morning so I didn't want to search a new lobby but each time we went into a match I knew it would be a hard slog, at one point I got team-killed on the first spawn. I'm not sure exactly what he was planning, maybe it was a slip of the grenade finger, maybe he misjudged and his 'nade bounced back but I'd hardly taken four or five steps before I flew into the air.

And why the hell does everyone choose The Fort over Sanctuary, or Train Wreck? Fort matches are always camp-fests with occasional RPG/shotty whoring... Not my idea of fun.

I feel the exact same way about the fort, leo. Damn that fort.....

As someone who does always vote for The Fort, I apologize. I can't help it, I just love me some FAL action.

I haven't been on in forever. There's some shenanigans involving my internet service, and switching everything over, so I'll probably be out the loop for a few days, before I get everything set back up. I'm getting used to my routine at work though, so hopefully soon, I'll be back to playing with you guys, more regularly.

Also, Demon's Souls is insanely addictive. Trying to curb that one, but it's a great fallback for when nobody is on, or when I get tired of Uncharted. We need to rep that game more, it's been great so far. Think I'll go bump that thread back up, actually.

I dont like the fort either, But i would much rather die by the FAL than getting shotgunned. God i hate that! i keep falling for it too coz i really cant figure out how to get out of the way. Maybe the only way to counter it is never to let the shotgunners get close to you in the first place.

With shotty users I find that if there are a couple of them (like in the village or something) just stay out of areas where there are a lot of corners. They will generally stay in covered areas with limited visibility so that they can get close before you have a chance to take them out. Always be ready when going around corners. If you notice that they're weaving left and right to avoid your shots and they are already pretty close. Just drop a nade and take them with you.

those shotty guys can be a pain at stages, but i love just drilling them when they are trying to run towards you to shoot you.
it just feels like a major win, those kills are that lil bit more sweeter

Sometimes I will actually taunt those ones just because they got caught trying to use a cheap weapon on me......but only once in awhile....

I used to use the FAL a lot on all maps before the new update, which as we all know reduced its rate of fire, I wish they did something to the shotguns that makes it less effective from what it is now.

It seems to have become fashionable to run and gun with the shotty in every game now, it's epidemic, I swear.

I've started grabbing the shotty at every availability, switching to my pistol and keeping it out of play... Did me a huge favour this morning on The Village when I just managed to get round a corner being shot from behind, standing there waiting to heal I just knew he'd be following up for the kill. I thought 'Hey.. Why not?', whipped out the Bangstick and served him a nice slice of KABLAMM as he ran round the corner.. Am I a bad person now?

the shotgun isnt as dominate as it used to be at the 1.04 update because it tsakes a lesser time to kill the person holding it, so if you see them running towards you and you kill them just in time, back on the 1.04 update and even b4 that, you would have been dead.
so in a way the changees have mad the gun a bit less dominant
I dont know what you guys say but they need another stage/level with the SAS shotgun cuz that is a weapon of mass destruction..

I just feel that there is one coming, what else in Uncharted havnt they made a multiplayer map on... It has to be a level with Trees and tents of such.. or just lil things like that that are found in the borneo level.. o and i wouldnt mind the magnum or the sas shotty being in there as well

Rawr. Had some random guy shit talk me for no apparent reason. No basis for his trash talk or claims to back up his statement.

So, to make it clear that I don't just do 1 vs 1's to make myself feel good, I made an example of the guy so people know not to simply talk stuff when they can't back it up. It also re-iterates that I leave all negative comment on my page if they have a reason to be negative but that all flaming will be ignored and all challenges will also be ignored.
