Coolio. Got no Bills this week, so might as well go for it. I know it was said before, but is the content on the disc or does it have to be downloaded?

REALLY liking Honest Hearts DLC at the moment, varied environments and it's just fun trying to discover all the locations, then I hope to breeze through the quests . However, I would've liked a few more unique weapons, new enemy types and traders who stock stimpaks and a decent amount of caps !!!. Those Yao Guai aren't too hard to kill but they can take down a lot of health fast if you are caught unawares. I guess I'll have to fast travel back to the Mojave to buy more stimpaks, oh, and I found the canyon's snowglobe

| I don't think you can leave until you finish the DLC. Pretty sure that's the whole mission, getting to leave. You can go back and forth afterwards, but not until. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
Make your own healing items. Place is lousy with Broc, IRRC. I forget what else goes in it. (Xander Root?) But I remember thinking that there was plenty. |

Snipe Yao Gui until you level, then put points in it? You should at least be able to make the simplest healing powder like from back in the tutorial. Better than nothing.

Maybe, I'll try survive and do some quests to speed it up too, discovered most of the locations now so it's about time I did some more of them

Above all, when you're out of healing items, sneak crit wherever possible.

Finished both sides of Honest Hearts (to get all the trophies ) but ended up going with Joshua Greyham for my main character. Great DLC overall and fantastic for xp (400+ xp for the smaller quests which are extremely easy to complete) . Good loot at the end too, a unique weapon and several unique pieces of clothing/armor . The weapons in there are worth a ton too so I sold a bunch for 5000 caps at gun runners. Also got another few trophies, finished another few side quests, got to lvl 26 with "guns" at 100 (the stat) and did the "Bleed me Dry" quest which took ages. It ended with the deathclaw cave and that was one tough cave to clear !!, got several great criticals and saved after every deathclaw I killed because it was so hard. The mother was a huge pain to kill, took 10 attempts before I crippled her leg first shot . Then I killed the legendary deathclaw which was also one hell of a battle, he just kept killing me so damn fast !!, managed to kill his 2 normal deathclaw "guards" with criticals without him being majorly startled, then I saved for like the 20th time in this cave . He was the only one left, ate a bunch of meds and kept reloading the save after barely denting his health with my anti-material rifle w/ incendiary ammo . Finally, I sneak criticalled his head taking of around 2/3 of his health, saved right there and used my jet meds to refuel my action points and chop off the last bit of his hp in vats , AWESOME !!! . That cave was a heap of fun to clear and very difficult !! Now It's back to wildcard quests then maybe start another DLC

If you never want to worry about caps again, do Dead Money. You have to be careful, and a little lucky in finding a Stealth Boy that you save up until the very last part, but if you do it right you'll stay in caps forever.

I was thinking of doing Dead Money as my next DLC so I guess that just pushes me over the edge . Will start it up tonight after I have finished wild card quests. Am literally on the last part of the questline, have to just kill general oliver but he has an army of elite NCR soldiers who gun me down super quick each time after the conversation finishes, any help on killing him ?, please ? I have already l killed Lanius, he was tough and his sword did a ton of damage but beatable thanks to my anti-matter rifle.

No idea. I've never been able to make it much passed meeting Mr. House. I've done the Boomers quests, several of the NCR's. All the rest is sidequests and DLCs. After that my file became unplayable due to slowdown. I do know that you don't get to continue after you complete the game though. So if you want to go back and do anything else then you'll need an earlier save file.

I went looking for the GOTY Edition. When I didn't want it it was everywhere. When I do want it, I can't find the effing thing.

Keep searching Liam, you'll find a copy !! , Killed Oliver thus finished wild card questline. Reloaded an old save and started Dead Money, not as good as Honest Hearts IMO. Too difficult (confusing) to get to quest objectives, boring colours and no gear ;(. I'll keep playing some other time and see how it holds up later on.

The vibe is very different. Very Survival Horror. Limited visibility, limited weaponry, zombie-like guys all over. I liked it a lot. Very good change of pace.

False. New Vegas actually did put invisible walls on its mountains in many places. If you were required to cross them to get the game, then you would not be able to.

Yeah they are annoying especially when you can pretty much jump to wear you want to go but the wall won't let you even if it's in the middle of the map.

Damn.... Played some more New Vegas today . Still on the Dead Money DLC, getting better but then got worse as I got real aggravated when trying to start the Gala Event and enter the casino (where I'm up to now) , fecking toxic gas, crap weapons and bear traps camouflaged on the ground ready to take off huge chunks of my health , annoying !! . At least I found the snowglobe though
