| If by booby trap you mean run around getting killed multiple times by them, then using the only way I know how to cope, to deal with my issue? Then yes... In other words... C4ninja, I am |

| I'm getting much better with piloting helicopters to the point where I feel confident that I'm not going to crash into the ground 50% of the time. Maybe I'll crash 5% of the time now, or when I'm goofing off. If I can get points so that I can get unlocks to stop locked on rockets then I think we'll be in good shape. |

| It almost seems like the helicopters are easier to control in BF3 than the are in BC2. Maybe that's not the way to put it: there was a steep learning curve from nothing to piloting in BC2, but the curve isn't as steep nor as long when piloting from BC2 to BF3. In an odd sort of way flying in BF3 makes more sense if that makes sense to anyone who's in the same situation as myself. I'd be willing to give tips to anyone who wants some practice. We can try working something out in a co-op game. I may or may not be on tonight. The weekend doesn't look too bad, although at some point on Saturday I want to watch V for Vendetta. It seems appropriate. |

| got my guy fawkes mask hanging on my reading lamp i think the gravity constants on my game disc are too high. i get the helicopter in the air and i plummet down to the ground. that must be it. ive been using the grenade launcher on my medic class during a couple rounds where its all cqb and its really really fun. the only downside is you lose all the points from healing. but darn getting double kills from a perfect ironsight shot feels good! i just wish the eod vest doubled the ammo. |

I have noticed some really funky things can happen when the game lags. If you don't have any experience flying helicopters my advice is to take it really slow. Start piloting the bigger choppers that can hold two gunners as they take less skill to control because they respond slower than say a Havoc. Get the flying controls down before you start adding the shooting in. From my experience with BC2, the more open the area was the less I had to think about when it came to flying. I could focus on shooting and getting some kills for myself. As soon as the space became more confined I was thinking more about not crashing and less about shooting. If you can get the flying down so you don't have to think about it you can think about more difficult tasks. |

= me, everytime while gunner/co-pilot... This one guy went straight into the water off of the ol navy boat in Canals(?iunno) Teamkilled a full chopper Until you're confident, just stick with solo-chopper at an above obstacle height. Like Azira said, use an open area until you feel you don't have to worry about crashing as much as shooting... Also, I used le trusty igloo on a chopper >< Gots me a: - Spoiler:
vehicle disabled 100 vehicle destryoyed 50 enemy killed 100 enemy killed 100 double kill ? don't remember the points (20?) enemy killed 100 (I didn't see a triple kill message) roadkill 10 enemy killed 100 roadkill 10 enemy killed 100 squad eliminated (don't remember again! GAH! )
I was spamming rockets on jets until I decided to take on a helicopter... Used up every rocket, died, every rocket again, died, first rocket, direct hit... MY REACTION > They were riding us for the whole match up until then :') |

| Nothing worse than one vehicle dominating your team, especially if no other engies are bothering to try shooting it down!
I don't even bother with copters with my current skill level in them, i feel more useful on the frontline. |

| As an engineer I feel my purpose on the field is: 1. Repair - Fixing as much as I can to keep our artillery in the game. 2. Destroy - taking out as much health of enemy vehicles as I can. 3. Chip away - taking as much of their infantry down with me. So far it has worked, but until I unlock a better scope I'm happy with this. |

| What's the first launcher you unlock for the engineer that locks onto vehicles? I need one of those. Right now I just have regular ones and I shoot tanks with them. Not so good for flying vehicles though.
I wonder if we can set up any private games. We could try making one and an XMB chatroom and practice where we wouldn't have to worry about getting shot all the time. Between the people here and the new folks coming in from the Battlelog we could probably get enough people (minimum 8 ) to do some practicing. |

| What's Team Deathmatch? Red is not on my list. Why is Red not on my list? It's slightly more likely I'll be on tonight than I was last night, but my favourite TV show starts up tonight so I'll watch that and then try playing afterwards. I'll try to remember to look into private game setup (if there's any). EDIT: btw Red you have an awesome YouTube userbar. |

Stinger (US) and Igla (RU) for aircraft Javelin for tanks and whatnot. The privae game is a great idea But the skill-level is all over the place. |

In BC2 if you started a private game you could invite your friends into a lobby and your friends could invite their threads. Nothing in the privates games though counted towards your official stats, I'd have to double check on that though. If DICE has done something similar in BF3 then we could practice and screw around all we wanted and nothing would affect our stats if that's what people were worried about. I'd need seven other people to confirm what we can or cannot do though, and that might be best to try on the weekend. |

| red what is your opinion on tdm on this game? ive likened it down to 10mins of sheer panic interspread with moments of ownage. also they are going to be fixing the spawning feature on tdm so you can actually link up with the squad on ground, instead of randomly spawning infront of someone.
azira im on board but i cant play in the daylight until the weekend >.> ALSO ive heard rumors told that if an enterprising person can tag airborne vehicles with soflam, a javelin will target it. but that would take more teamwork than a pub team can muster, lol.
keep up the madness in this game everyone!
