Thanks for that etw, wondered how people were playing combat training with no PSN. I never tried that option before, and hey all the gold camos are unlocked too!

Need to lower the enemy AI a little though, getting killed by headshots across the map a little too often.

Hey, dudes.  

I've started uploading X360 Black Ops vids to my channel.  Check them out, if you've got time and/or need a fix.  LOL.  

Without trying to start any cross-console hate, I'm not feeling the game like I would on the PS3.  I'll give the 360 it's graphics/smoothness (the orange flames on the ground on Crysis keep freaking me out!), but the game feels SLOWER like it's moving at 30fps or something & I hate the controller.  It just doesn't respond as fast & aiming seems less precise...like the stick movement out & back to neutral are too slow.  It also actually hurts my hands.  Wtf.  (>_<)  Combine all of this with the fact that I can't seem to get any J-lobby games, therefore am almost always 2/3-bar, and you've got a pretty unhappy redhamu.  I'm a bit spoiled being out here & being able to almost always find full 4-bar lobbies.  

I'm not sure why I can't seem to find J-lobbies.  My initial thinking is what I had predicted before booting up the game--a lack of local competition due to the fact that the PS3 is a much more successful console out here in Japan.  I'm not sure if that's the only reason or not, however.  My console is set to 'English' & the region is Japan.  I wonder if changing the language will have any positive effect on my matchfinding?  I'll probably try that tonight.

Anyways, long story short, I'll continue to play it & upload vids at least through the first 50 levels.  Come & stop by for a little bit!

Well , with Psn being down , it's back to zombies solo for this game for me . Just got back from a 3 week holiday and booted up the ps3 for first game in over 3 weeks . Played a solo in ascension and played a new personal best of round 33 solo ( previous best was 25 ) . Very happy . I ended up killing myself cos I was tired . I finally broke the round 30 barrier !!!! .

Sorry for the double post but I just beat my record again !!! . Got to round 36 on Kino , solo of course . Is there a Nation record ??? . I think I'm mastering this game mode .

OK . Let's just say if you beat 36 than you now have the nation record . 33 for ascension and 20 for 'five ' . Solo only . I play alone ..... .

You have a few advantages that you don't in multiplayer.
Some machines are active without need to turn on the power.
You can buy Revives and, since there's no one else around to do it, you'll just automatically resurrect after a short period.
While downed whatever weapons you had become the powered up version of the pistols until you get back up.
I only played it a bit, so I might be forgetting something. But that's not to say it's easier. All those things just help to make up for the lack of people watching your back.

I never got into zombies hardcore but I noticed all the people at the top of the Kino leader boards where in a group of two...so yea... maybe that's an advantage?

I will take on this challenge I think.

Sounds like a fun challenge, although I haven't played much zombies. I personally prefer the competitive by miles but this sounds like a good challenge, I would give it my best shot for sure. Although I doubt I have it in me to get to round 36. How long did that take you?

lmao! from round 15-25 it took me the better part of two hours.
its just a matter of ammo and doing laps around the map.
get the pack-a-punch, Juggs, speed cola, revive and you will be an unstoppable force.

It took me about 2 hours methinks to get to 36 . I have a really good strat for kino and ascension , five not so much . On kino I run complex and strategic laps round the stage . Running round in circles doesn't work though , it has to be more elaborate , the running round the map method also works but takes longer and requires a powerful weapon in case you are cornered , thunder gun is a must .
