I'm passing on this and all other games from now on. I've come to the conclusion that games nowadays, take no skill whatsoever to play. With games like Battlefield and CoD on the market, companies are taking their formula and changing it a little to make it seem original, but its all the same bullshit. Put your aim on this dude push r1 for 2 seconds and there's your kill. Takes no skill at all. Sniping: Put your aim on this dude, and one shot him every time. Real skill Assault rifles: Enjoy your unlimited range as you crossmap a dude in 3 shots. Real skill.
I'm just so sick of the bullshit in games. Especially CoD/Battlefield. Def passing up MW3 not even gonna rent that shit, as its the same MW2 in a brand new package, but with more MLC and OMA DC bull. Even more lousy hit detection and lag. Oh! and more Host advantage! And lets not forget the tactical knife!
Resistance 3 I might give a rent, just because it def. looks like it takes skill to actually kill someone from what I've seen.
These games actually take skill: Uncharted 3, MAG, Resistance 3 These games don't take skill: Any CoD game, any Battlefield game. In general, every first person shooter game doesn't take any skill, cause they want you to die in 3 shots. instead of putting an actual learning curve like the games that take skill do.
Well, I can see COD, but Battlefield is much balanced, and the "3 shot kill" for an assault rifle is nonexistant. I really can't see MAG either? That's an unbalanced game. R and UC both do require skill, but some other of the games you mentioned are just what you said you didn't like, variations of the same game.
MAG definitely takes massive amounts of teamwork. And that's why Valor never has any contracts (EXCEPT THE OTHER DAY HOLY SHIT THEY HAD 2 CONTRACTS AT ONCE)
I was playing a match in the airstrip when one of those buildings blew up... There were 3 players from the opposing team camping in there and they were tossed halfway across the map. Literally raining men... It was the most hilarious thing I've seen in the uncharted series.
Yemen was really hit and miss for me. One game I went around 28-3, the next I went 13-13. It all depends if I was able to get into a good rhythm or not.
Perhaps I'm late to the party on this one, but I saw today that one of the kickbacks, the one that turns you into a bunch of spiders, is going to be a preorder bonus exclusive for Game Stop.
Exclusive, non-cosmetic content as a preorder bonus. I was hoping it wouldn't be something like that when I saw "requires code" in the beta. I've no intention of not buying the game because the games are always great for the single player. However, I know for certain I'm not going to be preordering it, and I urge any of you not to as well. Buy it new, by all means, just don't preorder and thus support this business model. If possible, don't buy it from Game Stop either. Get it from somewhere else. Trust me, you're in no danger of not getting a copy on day one if you want.

I agree with you, Monkey. Absolutely hate when Gamestop and other companies make a big deal about preordering a game, they act like they won't have enough copies. The content should be included from the start anyway.

I'm wondering if the Creepy Crawler kickback is going to be something you can get after you level up or will it be exclusive to Gamestop buyers only. I have free first day delivery and a lot of $ credit with Amazon . I don't like to support Gamestop for various reasons but the CC kickback looks so hilarious.

That kickback looks ridiculously overpowered. I mean, those guys were dropped pretty quickly.
Then again, the RPG kickback is pretty much the same way...

Well, the same argument can be said of any kind of killstreak reward. This would be like getting CoD's Attack Dogs killstreak exclusively. If you can get it, then you most likely don't need it to win. However, this is different in that if two people are of equal skill, and one of them has this advantage that the other one doesn't, then the one without loses through no fault of his own. At least with the other kickbacks it's a choice. Say two people of equal skill are playing Black Ops and both get the same number of kills. One aims for dogs, while the other only aims for attack chopper. Second guy could have had dogs, but chose to go with a lower streak. His call. With this kickback being exclusive, even if second guy wanted to go for this and qualified for it, the choice is taken away. Unfair.

If its simply early access, then I don't have a problem with it. But it didn't say that in the trailer. Just said 'exclusive'. And in the beta attempting to select it said 'requires code'. I know it looks fun, but please don't fall for that. Letting them hold out the good content only for those who preorder from a certain retailer is something we definitely should not support. Not preordering is the only way to stand against it.
