Ohhh, my stomach hurts. I reeeeeally need to save as much money as I can but on the other hand it's frickin Uncharted 3! Hopefully one of our biggest distributors decide to have some sort of offer on release day.
Thanks Static for playing a few 3TDM with me just as I got home from work. Haha, I dunno why you hate the Museum so much. Both that one and Highrise used to be my most hated maps in U2, but now with the altered gameplay it actually suits it really well.
I can't wait until I get off my watch on Monday morning next week. That means I got ONE ENTIRE week off and can barricade myself with Uncharted 3. During the last couple of days at work (out of boredom, mind you) I've been analyzing the gameplay in my head. And by analyzing I mean analyzing every small bit of it.
I have certain theories on how one can handle certain situations without much effort and can't wait to put it into action.
Once the game gets out I'm gonna need volunteers to help me try stuff out in private lobbies
I saw you online last night Reo. I'm finishing up Rage so I can devote my gaming time to UC3. I'd be up for any private lobby stuff too probably help me out also. I saw UC3 museum was up watched some matches on Youtube ... that map looks so large to me in every direction.

Museum is too broght, wich makes it harder to see. Now more an eyesore than it was in U2. Plus, its just another bull vertical map. Its just like Syria and Yemen. Too vertical and it makes it hard to have a straight one on one. Plus it means I get buzzkilled out of my furies. Don't worry, though, I'm still getting me some U3 collector style.
KAL needs to be a power weapon, though. Completely annoying when a whole team is using nothing but that and pumping over your dead corpse. Ping is also like SA, but thankfully toned down, and costs you to use it. So, it's evened out as well, plus it oly works when people shoot. Untraceable, is not worth it honestly, as people who d use ping are most likely terrible in one v. ones, which with the oncreased health, you have a much better chance of winning.
Also tried FFA. Its alright, but I got a good sense of lagswitxhers, though.
Only complaint beside the KAL is the AK with aim accuracy. That like, homes in bllets when the circle isn't even on you. Oh, interesting thing, yesterday, I got buzzkilled 3 times on 8 kills, once with 4 assists in a row XD
Thank ya Watch. I may seem like a rager who only wants good plsyers, but I love playing with buds. The only time I do rage is at terible randoms and when I get my kills stolen or get bullshitted in the game.
I have not had much of a chance to get into U3 recently, been playing Arkham City, but now that the Museum is out I just might go back for a day or two, hope that I'm not too rusty about it
/rant power plays need to be removed. Marked man is fine, but exposed and DD are just too much fucking bullshit. Exposed allows a whole fucking teamof randoms to kill the sklled person, just because he is outgunned. DD is just overpowered.
Medal kickbacks need changing. Remove Quick boom and RPG. those are way too fucking cheap and need to be either removed, or chsnged to eliminate overuse. Smoke bomb needs to spawn us AWAY frm people not IN them.
Every person needs a buddy. make it 6 vs 6 so that there is not 1 person getting owned cause he can't abuse the buddy system. Also, buddies shold not be able to spawn on someone when they are in a gunfight. I've seen this happen many times, mostly at me, and its just annoying as F***.
KAL needs to be made a power weapon. Nuff said. Blindfire in genereal also needs a nerf. Make it less accurate (like its supposed to be) or make it deal oly 75% less damage than what the gun actually does. Lag needs to be fixed. Smoke bombed away and 5 seconds later as I'm moving away "WHACK" dead.
Edit: remove the sawed off kickback as well.

ND is losing my respect severly for what retarded unneedednchanges they've been making.
Static, last I checked you can't spawn on your body when they are in combat (i.e. shooting at someone/near an enemy/near a grenade), did they change this?
wow.....who the hell has the patience for that? I will just press the stupid square button if my buddy is in combat, I rarely use the buddy system anyway for some reason, I'll probably use it when I'm partied up with you guys though
I dunno, I expected myself enjoying the game more as I improved my skills. I could go 14-2 in Uncharted 2 and be damn proud and just have a blast.
Here however, I go 14-1 and I find myself not even enjoying the game. It's too much "luck" or "chance" to the game right now. With the auto-aim and hipfire and broken spawn system, it just feels like a really bad product, MP wise.
No doubt it has ALOT of potential, but I agree with Static on many points. The game practically forces you to hipfire back if you want to have any chance of getting a kill (oh, you will die, that's for damn sure). Melee? I can roll away, but when it comes to hipfire you can't do anything because of it's auto-accuracy and lock-on aim.

Alot of folks (especially at ND forums) claim that the improved hipfire system allows for more types of players. Okay, fair enough. But if 90% of the playerpool are using this setup:
M9/Kal7 Micro (With Blindfire accuracy/Rapid Fire mod) Quickboom/RPG kickback
And add the fact that they will rely on hipfire/melee only, how much variety will we get? Is that a balanced game that allows different types of players?
I tried running some FFA with the Dragunov Sniper and I was shocked to see people playing the exact same way. It didn't look like a shooting game, but more like a big a$$ Beat Em Up. It allowed me to get an easy win, but it just showed how broken the game is.
I'm all for more health, but if bullets are "weaker", then melee need to be too. It's bizarre how I can SHOOT someone and before I kill them, they can run up to me and punch me TWICE. Mind you I didn't miss ONE shot. 3 burst with the G-MAL, my butt.
I dunno, it's just so sad to see that despite doing well, the bad stuff keeps me from enjoying it. Will be interesting to see what the next patch will bring
I hear ya there Reo, of course being the pessimist that I am, I am wondering how long it will be before we have a rerun of U2 where ND makes a big move that most of us hate but refuse to listen to us.
Btw, I've found that I can get kills rather easily with 2 bursts from the G-MAL, even though my main gun of is the M9
no, it takes 3. and IMO, thats way too much. with three, it takes too much ammo, and someone can easily still YOUR kill.I had a match jusg now, trying to main the GMAL and before we got down to 15 mins, I had 5 assistants.(15 assists) was pissed off and rage quit even though I was with friends. Fair warning to all. Continuosly steal kills from me, whenI'm getting pissed about too mNy assists, expect nades flying at you.
Speaking of which, again, whoever shoots first gets the kill is how it should be done. Now, not one bullet and ait for someone else to kill them, you need to show interest in getting them to go down. ao if you get them below 50% health, and someone steals it, you should get the kill. unless you are using a power weap. as a main, of course.
Then they must have changed it, because I have gotten a couple of kills by only using 2, maybe its because I was aiming for the head, but idk, haven't gotten a chance to get to play recently
I've finally had enough of the game, as it is right now. I've gone back to COD4 in preparation for MW3. It's in ND's hands now. I TRIED, but the game just isn't fun. (>_<) Easy remedy...give us back the June beta settings.

From what I've heard Red, the actual UC3 game will have the damage reduced back to the June beta settings. I heard it on either gametrailers, gamespot, or IGN. Not sure if that's what you don't like, though.
