I'm not sure if there's a thread on this game yet (couldn't find one), but it's one that I'm slowly becoming excited for. For those that have talked with me already, I'm big into Motion controls for FPS (gotta love the Move), and this will eventually be another addition to this evolving genre.
Traditionally, Counter Strike by Valve was exclusively for PC only. Some attempts were made at bringing it to the console, but it was met without any success, mainly due to its poor controls. But, with the addition of the Move, perhaps they might come through with a success!
It's another FPS war game, that is highly rated for the PC (never played it for the PC, so I can't support this personally). The best thing about it is that you will not only get to play it against fellow PS3 users, but it will actually cross platforms with steam. Yes, I said that correctly! Those fighting it out on their PS3 will be able to play against those that are on the PC or Mac! The gaming world is evolving people!
I love the unforgiving atmosphere of this game, and for once it's nice to see a FPS that isn't a cookie cutter of yet another CoD.

Fantastic! I honestly had no idea this was coming to console. I will definitely be following a bit closer now.
Thanks for the info, Ich.

ive heard rumors (rumours) of this coming out for some time but didnt know a thing about the cross platform functionality.
holy smokes i remember having to physically lug my old tower computer to friends' houses for LAN parties of the original. you better believe it was ruthless. it was 1-2 shot kills and tested the 24 hour deodorant protection guarantee's!
i think motion controls are going to be the only thing to come close to mouse and keyboard in terms of reaction time. hopefully there will be some sort of equalizer on that or it would turn off console players.
