I'm looking forward to the DLC and all but I will enjoy it 20x more if they do practically nothing to the maps, I enjoyed them in their vintage form, and if I have to play the sanctuary in a jungle environment I will be heavily disappointed in ND

thought I was going to get another rampant, but in the last 6 kills all my teammates decided to actually play good and got the last few kills
vrals: I don't mind the makeover keeps the maps looking "fresh" and not boring after all some of us did play them for over nearly 2 years.

I was one of those people and I never got tired of them, I can understand where you are coming from and all but I just wouldn't get that Uncharted 2 feel by playing them with makeovers, would just be too weird for me, I was surprised with what they did to the facility and molten (flooded) ruins, it was really weird considering that the facility was supposed to be on a tropical island and now it looks like something out of the north pole lol

thats true, I never got tired of the old maps just that its nice to see something new added to them, I will be shocked if they do a molten golden city or something.

so true, I wish they would just give us a bundle of EVERY Uncharted 2 map that they haven't given to us for Uncharted 3, even if I have to pay $10 for them I will lol

Too much FAL (not OP, just way toovmany people using it) can't play alone otherwise I get shitty randoms who go 0-12, blindfire is still there, Stopping power never works for me but always against me, hit detection with sniper sucks and a bunch of other stuff.

Oh... well yeah the FAL is being raped by everyone thats true, just now I was against a full team that camped where the villain spawn on highrise, all equipped with snipers and fals and gmals.. needless to say i raged.

Its not going to get better. I'm not raging, its just that I don't want to play a game that has so many broken systems. Matchmaking is broken, as non partied legacies get matched to crap players who go 0-12 while they're going 24-3. Plus the sniping is broken (give us the u2 sniper aim, or increase the speed at which the reticule moves when you are scoped in and remove pain wobble altogether) Blindfire is still broke, make it 30% chance to hit and reduce melee to 4 hits for a kill. Also quick boom needs to either be one grenade, or have time be reduced.

The game is much better since the last patch, but we still have lots of issues that needs to have a look at. Somehow, I don't mind that this game isn't as addictive as U2. It means I get more time to try out other games and had this game been as Uncharted 2 in terms of fun then I wouldn't have played Killzone 3, God of War 3, Super Mario Galaxy or Assassins Creed: Brotherhood.
It also helps to keep the game feeling fresh and exciting.
Jolli, I couldn't get your vids done today, despite what I thought. I've been building together my new furniture and it takes tiiiiiiime
I hope I'll get it done tomorrow so I can set my gaming stuff back up and get it done. I'll even throw this in the deal. Consider it as compensation for the delay!

Yeah it does have a plethora of problems, no one can deny that.

I'm liking this game ATM, although I do notice that matchmaking needs a decent patch and we have that same problem that seems to affect every game released recently; low level = get raped because your gun is crap... I don't even care what loadout I start with in matches, I just grab the first gun I see on the ground and use that.
BTW, I'm playing on my new Leo__337 account ATM, Add me if you want party-time, big boy.
Also, +1 to Reo for mentioning Jolli's language to him, +1 to V for mentioning Reo coming across a little 'back-seat-moddy' and +1 to Jolli for editing and accepting both comments in the friendly way they were both meant.
Yeah, I'm in a good mood here for some reason... Don't know what it is though.

Oooh, Leeeo! What a rare sight indeed, but it sure is good seeing you around here. Hope you have been doing good and that life is treating you nicely.
As mentioned in a previous post, I'm getting my stuff together and will hopefully have it running again by tomorrow night. I'll add you the first thing I do when I get online, can't wait to party up with ya!

I have been watching these videos by tripleWRECK aka Uncharted beast . He does these 'review" videos for Uncharted 3 , he and his partner look at problems and possible fixes in all areas of the game . His latest vid is on Kickbacks and I urge some of you guys to take a look .

Mmm yeah I'm not playing this for a LONG while. Sniping is sooooo goddamn broke. Not o mention this game is getting FLOODED by these FAL and quickboom BASTARDS who think they're so good but really suck. Matchmaking is nothing but crap. And th game STILL rewards steelfist/blindfire.
solution? Bring back sniper aiming from U2, Nerf the FAL and nerf quickboom, make Matchmaking based on KD for christs sake, and make blindfire a 20-30% chance to hit AND make melee to 5 or 4 hits. Thn, the game will be skillful, cause then aiming will be more rewarding than tis blindfire and people will stop ragequitting, as they will play people of equal skill

Oh noes, Static is going Reo! I agree on many of your points, Static (What a shock!!), especially about the Quickboom and the FAL. I never quite understood the point of having so many different guns when one clearly is overpowered. Besides, when it's unlockable at a higher level, the game pretty much gives the "hardcore players" more tools to chase the new players away with. This was my biggest concern with the entire mods/kickbacks feature, it really doesn't work beneficial towards the whole "balancing" aspect.
Thankfully we have a "Hardcore" mode but if you go into that one without a FAL, prepare for working your butt off if you want to do good whereas the FAL users gets the easy way out.
I'm not hating on people who are using it, I'm just stating that it's the go-to gun in this game due to it being far superior to the other weapons.
With all the feedback on ND boards lately, I would be surprised if we didn't see the FAL and Quickboom get some sort of nerfing treatment.
Meanwhile, roll around in protecting parties, Static. I'm gonna throw myself out in the competitive jungle a bit more than before and I sure could need a genuine teamkiller
Regarding the maps, I would too prefer them to stay as original in appearance as the originals, but only in terms of backgrounds/graphics. However, to help them feeling new and fresh, why not include new elements to them? Instead of simply putting on new skins, why didn't they add more new stuff to the maps to help getting more kinds of tactics into them? More sniping spots, more zip-lines, perhaps an earthquake in the Ice Caves that will open up the Cave here and there. I just feel like so much exciting things could have been implemented had they only put in more of that lovley "U2" imagination. So far, the U2 maps lacks in the dynamic department. What if the Facility had some of those Spaniards rushing out during a certain time? The Caves with an earthquake? The Village set in a storm?
But before we see any new/cool maps, I'd prefer that they get the gameplay sorted. Still, this game has it's fun moments. Just like Leo, I love picking up the guns people drop and play around with their mods and stuff. Being a Jack of all trades (but master at none, haha) is very satisfying

Like your ideas, Reo, ND should hire you. I rarely pick up other people's weapons, I like to keep things simple to my play style, to be honest I wish that weapon master was on the second booster slot, that way I could use both it and fleet foot, having two MODS on my weapons would be nice, having both RoF/reload speed on an M9 or accuracy/reload speed on an AK would be really fun! Oh well, I'm really liking having team safe on, and can't wait to level it up, has so many beneficial features, especially at level 3!!!!! One problem, I need to get "high five" medals to level it up to level 2, currently have 3/15, need to have my buddy be willing to give the high fives lol

Wished that ND had more than one guy to think out of the box for them.. Or you know actually listening to their fan base.. Usually pick up other peoples weapons either when im out of bullets or that I have just legacyed and need some better fire power. Other than that I like most of my load outs and do well with them... usually.
that sucks, Static, not really happy with you hating on people without mics, though, since there are probably plenty of people who are like me, want mics but can't afford/parents won't let us get them
