Soooo , anyone up for some Uncharted 2/3

I would be, Mitch, but its late for me, sorry man, another time, give me two weeks and then I can do nothing but play Uncharted 3 (I'll suck up Uncharted 2 if you really want to go back to it) and Star Wars the Old Republic for 4 days straight, thank you midterms

The gmal can easily beat a fal +Qb in 70% of the time, most of the people cant even aim

thats not at all how it played out after the 1.05 patch, then the faster you could get your reticle on the target you win, and most of the times even thinking of going 1 on 1 would end in both dying 80% of the time.

U2 wasn't the holy grail it had alot of problems like glitchers, bunny hoppers, Lag, too low of health and the list goes on.
But I agree with you for some new classic maps, the only one that comes close in U3 is desert city ? and london underground.

The game clearly lacks in balance and that's where it falls. You need to have a counter against every element in the game.

Yes, some weapons were stronger than others in Uncharted 2, but those were POWER WEAPONS, people.

Now you can spawn with the best weapon and use magic to throw out RPG's, vanish into smoke or just throw fireballs...or transform into a swarm of SPIDERS. It's a badly made cartoon.

Why are some of you bringing up the increased health as something good when you die just as fast from the FAL as you did with the Hammer in Uncharted 2?
Better maps? Really? When one team can start from the better spot or when maps are so easy to spawntrap?

Sure, if you're in it for mindless fun and don't care about having a challenge then sure you might enjoy it.

Looking forward to see if these tweaks make any types of difference. Still kind o fhanging around....but I'm not getting much play time. And when I do I'm slowly painfully chugging through FF XIII

Ok, then the faster target reticuler player would win. My point is it was more of a gun vs. gun game than UC3.....power weapons were more rare and something to be fought over.... not something any joe blow pulls out of his azz at anytime like in UC3

The power weapons are the same as kickbacks, and happen just as much as kickbacks.
most of the high level players I encountered, used their guns only maybe a few times in a match and mainly camped the ever living hell out of the power weapons.
I Love UC2 just as much as the next guy but the bottom line is that is was a unfair game, so many things wrong, while UC3 tries to change those problems and succeds and Fails in some aspects, but succeeds in making it a more fun experiance.

And you guys just point out the bad and give up on it, mainly for trying new things and balancing the mp and then proceed to give it shit for not being UC2.5.

I just dont get that dont get that.

Woohoo!!!!!!!! I think I am getting a display of the old ND, where would actually listen to us, I didn't encounter many people that used the creepy crawler but when I did I thought it was funny/annoying (what can you do to stop them/where am I getting attacked from?). Thank god for increasing the amount of medals required for QB, so many people use(d) it! Now as for the FAL, I would say that maybe increase the amount of bullets that are required to kill someone by like 2-4, so that we at least get some form of a chance in a straight up gunfight with a FAL user.

Yikes. I disagree with you about there being as many power weapons on UC2 as kickbacks plus various power weapons you find in UC3. There are videos on Youtube that will show that. I think the appeal of Uncharted 2 MP was it was different than other MP shooters . It isn't too much to expect a similar game in UC3 so I did expect UC 2.5 I wont give up on it tho. Thanks for pointing out the patch link.... I think that will help a bit.

I have to admit, watch, that I find U3 is like U2 when it comes to not being like other shooters, COD hasn't changed in like a decade and most of the others on the mark do something to make them different from the rest of the pack, so I would have to say that unlike you I was not expecting U2.5, maybe something like U2 but not U2.5 lol

you know you can shoot or grenade a swarm to end it right? it can only take so much damage.

never tried that, will do it next time I see one, long as its not right on top of me, in which case it'll be hard to shoot.

You misunderstood I didn't say that there were as many Power weapons as kickbacks, only that they happen just as frequent. Mostly due to people camping the spawns (of the power weapons I mean) and if you met up with a decent party when you are a random then you are pretty much guaranteed that you wont get any of the power weapons, ok . guaranteed is a bit strong but you only get so many windows of oppertunity until

A) someone kills you

B) You get overunned immediatly

C) you just outright kill your self (if you panic)

I understand to expect a U2.5 but if that were the case then the community would probably die within a few months.

Jollitimer, I have no idea how the UC3 community is doing now, any idea of the # of players ? I know UC2 dropped to between 30k to 40k after a while and stayed at those numbers til the end. We all have our opinions on power weapons and kickbacks. I'm hoping for some new great maps and hoping ND still keeps changing some things to make UC3 great.

Hope you didn't take my post in a negetive way (not its purpous) and the community is still going strong, just saying to much familiarity makes things boring.

I didn't take your post in a negative way, its just a discussion and expression of opinions and ideas. I do get your point I try to keep an open mind. The important thing is having fun and I am glad you are enjoying the game.
