| Even after you hit Max rank there is a lot to do. There is no way you can beat the last level on insane without getting really good equipment |

| Well, after a valiant effort today, I am...still on Endless Spires, but level 27 now. I just cannot take down the 3 Ogres at once. |

| Orges are easy if you sacrifice a few defences. Setup a barrier a few feet away from a tower and it will decoy the wraith of the orges. |

| I don't have the hero damage to take them out before they can reach my other defenses. I'm all tower damage, and the huge number of accompanying trash mobs are enough to draw fire from the Ogre so they don't die before they can kill my towers.
I need points in Tower Health so that they last long enough to kill them them. I may just have to start up a Squire or Monk to put down supplementary defenses like the strength drain, or slice 'n dice. |

| Well me will be online on Saturday (Friday your time) and will try to jump in to help you out.
Slice N' Dice is weak compared to the bowling ball cannon. The cannon goes through heaps of enemies and will keep them back in the corridor areas.
Remember to upgrade your amour and weapons too. |

| I'll be busy during the evening, but I'll try to catch you sometime during the day. Just post here when you're on and I will too. Appreciate the help.
The canon is strong, but it's best used in enclosed spaces where it can bounce around or in long corridors. Endless Spires is all open area.
I'm always on the lookout for better gear. All of what I wear is as upgraded as I can make it though. Just haven't found a staff that can out damage the one I've got. |

| lol Same here. Of course, you can't really count on the green dots to point you towards the better stuff. They just count how many points something has on it, I think, not what those points are. I'll take a piece of armor crappy resist on it if it buffs other more important stats, but I have to sift through stuff the game says isn't superior to find it. |

| Me just saves cash and buys the good stuff since its polished and not worn. Got yourself a pet yet? Me has 3 now from doing the survival level up trick. 2 dragons and 1 flying kitty.
The worse enemy me has come across is the 2nd type of dragon that me has only seen on 1 map and it packs some serious damage. |

| Yeah, I bought a pet early on. It sucks though. I can't even remotely afford any of the pets in the store anymore though. They're all .5-1.5 million. Eventually that'll be peanuts, but not now. Really, I'm waiting to get the little mini-me pet you get from beating the last level. I believe that's where you get it. |

| They boost the effectiveness of your defenses in some way. The Squire's adds a Defense Bonus to a nearby tower. Properly upgraded, you can make it affect more towers too. |

| Finished Medium. Got a worthwhile pet now. The Apprentice Pet's ability boosts a tower's damage. I tested it in the tavern with my Deadly Strikers. An unboosted DS's damage is ~5,000. With the boost it's ~8,000. Gotta remember to hit up that secret room too. Forgot before I shut down. |

Really, I'm waiting to get the little mini-me pet you get from beating the last level. I believe that's where you get it. if you reach wave 15 on any level on survival you get a pet. Each level has its own pet, and the harder the difficulty you beat it on the better the pet...usually. And the last level does give you a pet that is mostly he stat boosting, but if you beat that level oninsane you get an animus version which does do damage and a good chunck of damage too |

| Yeah, I've seen people with the Animus versions. Delightfully evil looking. I'll likely be making due with the lil' Apprentice I have up until I clear Hard and get a better version. I thought the mini-mes got their own experience and leveled that way too. I know it worked like that for the Huntress I was playing on PC at a friend's house. But my guy doesn't seem to be leveling. One of the PC only things maybe? - Dmick024 wrote:

That would explain why Dingo and I couldn't play. I'm very surprised though. This game is even supposed to be cross platform, though it doesn't seem to work with PC yet. I think it is working between PS3 and 360 though. I keep running into players who don't appear on my Players Met list while others do. Got to wave 9/10 on Glitterhelm last night. So close, but the we kept losing the center crystal's defenses by the lower stairs. Me, a Monk around level 40, and a Huntress in the 20s, with various lowby characters popping in and out. So many points to defend on this level, and we stretched our resources too thin. I do have a much better staff now at least. Dad's Staff was a marked improvement. |
