Some glitches starting to show themselves now. We got nailed by the care package glitch last night. It was hell on an open map as death from above just kept coming. I hate glitchers.

I haven't seen that one yet...theres one spot in Afgan where you can get into a rock/under the map or something...cause i killed i guy in there once. I've also heard of a couple of things that can be done to get outside the normal map on Wasteland...
And yeah, glitchers = bitches.

I have heard of the rock one but I haven't run into it yet.
The care package one is on Youtube so expect to see it. Basically, you get 1 care package legit and then thru a series of button pressing and actions, you keep getting care packages.
It's hard to detect because of the amount of stuff that normally goes on in this game. However, if 1 person just keeps launching air attack after air attack then it's a pretty good guess that he's glitched.

hahaha
then i decided to check out online mutiplayer played for 30 mins friggin as soon as a repsawned BAM! i got headshotted friggin 10 matches.. i got killed like 20 or so times in each.. not one damn kill! finally i was on like a 7 person kill streak when BAM! my friggin computer crashed!!
dad said i burt out the video graphics card. and so i had a nice rant.. lol then hes like 'now you know why im not gettin MW2 on pc, cuz then you will break my other computer... again.' and im like 'well it isnt my friggin fault hp makes shitty laptops that cant even play friggin chess titans without up is it!' and so he was like... :ummm: 'dont play it then?' and im like 'no screw that. i dont care if i make the damn thing explode, im gonna play the living shit out of that game' and so i did
now it wont even start without screwing up, or going into some crappy safe mode, then it friggin lag all over the place
grrrrrr! :smiling:
i swear if MW2 screws up like that on me.. il go ape..
The laptop we have can play games, but Windows 7 wasn't excactly made to play high graphic games... or any type of games. You have to no that all games now aren't compatable with Windows 7 like with Windows Vista or XP. That's why when we had Vista, i could play Race Driver GRID for hours at a time without damaging the graphics card or the laptop.
BTW, you had no 7 kill streak. Your highest. 3.
Note: Look up the compatability with games on Windows 7, you'll be surprised by the amount of non compatable games.

I've run into the rock glitch before. Dirty cheater just kept killing me. Cold blooded and silencer or something too so I couldn't see exactly where he was on the map to fight back. Definitely share the sentiment with you, PE.

On the topic of glitches/cheats: one guy found a way to get all 69 stars in co-op, as well as the accompanying trophies, WITHOUT PLAYING A SINGLE MISSION.
Dishonesty and unethical shortcuts seem to be a problem in society lately.

While watching that one vid, I had a hard time telling if the guy likes the snow camo or not.

What a bad snipe-tage...
Comebacks and killing NPC's in a montage? Why would you show that?

In all fairness though the guy did get some nice kills. Not at Hoos level but better than I have done thus far.

I was in a friends place yesterday and we set up a class with marathon, lightweight and commando as our perks and picked light weapons. We played for about 3 hours just knifing people, it was hilarious. You move so fast that unless youre running straight at someone they hardly have a chance to react. Im gonna unlock the tactical knife next and try that out, should be awesome

Until they sort out some damn decent servers there's no point...
I did cap some footage the other week just warming up for R2 picture day, I could throw that up so you can all see how bad the lag is, I suppose.
I went on the IW forums the other day to see if there were any work-arounds for it, a guy suggested using a US account because the matchmaker favours them so much as host.

I am finally getting half way decent at this game. Part of it is just understanding the maps. The only map I do terriable at is Rundown.

gg with Jon earlier. Neither of us was appallingly bad. On one map I would have gone positive if only I could tell the enemy uniforms apart from the friendly ones. There's one thing I'll say for Resistance: there's no difficulty recognizing the enemies -- they're a different species and they have red names above their heads.
Is there some other visual clue to show you that someone is an enemy other than the uniform, 'cause with my red-green colour blindness I'm dying way more than I should.

Ummm... If they shoot you and you die, they're the enemy?
That's probably not gonna help much is it?

Case in point. I was in Karachi (world of pain) and I jumped onto a roof. I hear a guy come up behind me. His outfit seemed darker than the rest of the Rangers so I assumed he was on my team. He appeared to crouch and ignore me. Then I died and realised he was the enemy. If I could have recognised this immediately he would have been dead and not me.

That would work, especially as I use Scavenger Pro so there's no problem with running out of ammo.

Rule of thumb: If it moves, assume it wants to kill you, and kill it first.
