Insom, I wouldn't read too far into that wiki were I you. You wouldn't want to ruin the story for yourself.
Also note that that one is just for FFVII. It's the only (canon) game that Cloud and Sephiroth appear in. Each FF is it's own story in it's own universe.
In my book the quality goes: 7, 10, 8, 9, with the rest kinda up for grabs.

I loved FF9 to death. I never really got into FF8, and the beyond wonky plotline/twist didn't help. I played through 7, but I was so young, that I really don't remember it very well. I just kinda went through it all, and finally beat it, but didn't really take anything from the story, or even really pay much attention. Definitely a title that I need to go back and revisit.

I'm really excited though, for some new FF content. I was actually wishing I could play through X again, I really enjoyed that, and never got around to finishing it, before my first PS2 kicked it. Glad I can finally get some RPG gaming in, again.

Also, I'm with Liam. Yuffie was incredibly annoying to a younger me. Just remember not really liking her character, and never really using her.

Okay, either you missed the joke or you're continuing it and I'm missing it.

In my lineup 8 only really won out over 9 because it had more human characters. I couldn't get over the feeling that everyone in my party was a leprechaun. I ran from half the fights because I thought the monsters were after me lucky charms.
Okay, it wasn't quite just that. I also like Triple Triad a heck of a lot more that Tetra Master.

Agreed on Triple Triad vs Tetra Master, but I think I liked 9 more cause it was more different that 7 & 8 who had the more Manga-futuristic thing going on while 9 had a real feeling of a fantasy world. And had leprechuans.

That's true. I've always viewed 7 as the perfect marriage of Scifi and Fantasy. There's all that technological advancement, but it all stems from the magic. Great way to continue the theme they started in 6. And 8 did alright with it. The space section was odd, but it was fun walking on the ceiling and moving around in Zero G.
FF 9 brought us back more in the direction of the earlier ones where it's all Fantasy. And they did well with it.

You can tell how successful a final fantasy game is by the amount of porn and hentai doujins out there.

Double Post: I heard that the Final Fantasy 13 that is out tomorrow has bits cut out of it in order to allow it to be used on the Xbox. Is that confirmed?

i've herd something like parts were taken out so it could be realised on xbox but can't recall what it all was.
I got FF13 on ps3 today and im loving every bit of it. the graphics are totally sick. and i cant wait to get back into playing it again. but i think ill need some sleep
