Ah, the early FF's. Not nearly as fun as the newer ones, of course, but there was still fun to be had in them. Any fond memories of FF I-VI will be welcome in this thread.

Final Fantasy IV was my first FF that got me into the series. From there it was FF VI and then the rest from there Smile

You Fool! Are you trying to get us all killed? Saying something like that is sure to start a fanboy war.
One side'll be all, "Hey, don't knock the new FFs you crystal loving hippies!"
And the other'll go, "What're you gonna do about it? Kill me with your sword? Oh, I forgot. You can't lift it; it's the size of a bus. Brilliant idea for a weapon there."
To which they'll respond, "Well, at least I can cast spells more than once per day, you D&D knock off!"
And the Earlys will reply, "Oh yeah? You're games are so advanced then why don't more people like FF 12?"
Newbies: "Hey, at least it's not FF 2's leveling system."
*stunned silence*
Earlys: "That was low."
Guns will be drawn, blood spilled, carnage unleashed in an orderly turn based manner!

I'm just saying were i started in the FF time line. The new ones own against I-VI but cant beat VII but we shall see how 13 goes looks fully sick cant wait.
:excitedsign:
Most people didn't like 12 because they introduced the new combat system even i hated it at first but as i played through the game my opinion changed.

And Yes Monkey Blood will be drawn :grenade: if the FF 13 (trio) fails but i highly doubt it will. and who knows how 14 will go being an online game like 11 (Failed!)

Whoa, guys, whoa.
This thread is just for people to talk about their favorite early FF's. This is getting way too violent.

P.S. You explode? That can't be healthy. you should get that checked.

Mystic Quest. That was fun times. I still have that, actually. It's in my desk drawer in front of me right now. I found a copy in the Pwn Shoppe a while back and played the heck out of it....for all the ten minutes it lasted. Lol. Okay, not quite that bad, but still very short. And the "Random" battles... If you intentionally choose to fight on a particular square on the world map, then it gives you a "Random" battle. he he
Still, for what it was, it was pretty entertaining.

And yes, I do explode all the time. That is, in fact, my role in THAT clan. I'm usually responsible for killing Six by way of Overload (R2).

"dude i wouldn't talk about monkeys on this forum."
"dude, just answer me. how many monkeys..."
*shakes head slowly*
"what?"
"hes everywhere."
"who?"
"They call him cobaltmonkey. You cant see him, hear him, and you better not speak ill of him"
"Thats the stupidest thing i've ever hea-AAAAAHHH!" *gets pulled in to a dark alley* Suddenly there was a loud "BOOM"
"You OK?"
Then a blue monkey walks up behind the remaining man, and taps on his shoulder.
"You must be a ninja to be able to get behind me that fast"
"Nah. i just re-spawned. "BOOM!"

I thought the tone of his posts sounded familiar. Took a while to recognize it as similar to my own. I swear, he's like a mini me. Except that he's as tall as I am.
He rejected my initial suggestion for his PS3 account. Cobalt Minion.
