Thats a Sniper. Nice gun but if your hunting bears up close the Buffalo kills em quick.

Of course, I've never hit them anywhere but the head, so maybe it takes two. Fortunately, the Carcano has a good size clip too.
My best tip for hunting bears is do it from as far away as possible. Then again, that's my tip for hunting pretty much anything.
Oh, but I noticed that you do get special animations for getting in melee range and then shooting someone. So far I've seen the 'pistol right over the heart' and 'shotgun under the chin' moves.

I like them too.
Love how the wounds actually show up too, Like I went dead eye for a head shot and it looks like a head wound.

I finally got Khan the jaguar to show last night then went on to the bear, can't remember his name. Thanks Tox and Tech for the help on that one.

Got public enemy, best place I think is in Black Water on the streets cause then you can tell when they are about to turn a corner and get ready. shooting lotsa policemens.

Oh no definatly in the town of black water there is a street there that is like a tunnel with no alleys they only have to come from either direction, so a good powered rifle or a high powered pistol makes quick work of them.

I'm closing in on my 100% for the single player. I'm going after the last outfit today. I've got three trophies that have eluded me and I'm not sure of the best plan to get them yet. They are the $5000 bounty, the $2500 bounty with the white horse, and the do 20 missions with the same horse.

The bounties are trouble for me because I reached legendary status. Which means, all my bounties are cut in half. I tried to get it the other day by climbing on the roof at Blackwater and sniping the town. I must have killed 100 people and go nowhere near $5000.

It looks like some of these are going to have to be done by starting a second play thru. Blah.

Does that not take effect only if your wearing the Legendary Outfit or is that cause of the fame?

Ah... Bugger... Do it in the middle of Black Water killing cops and any that come after you if they start to lose you fire a shot off that gets their attention.

Also, Hoos up top of the water tower with a sniper rifle... Get a clock tower in there and the media is in a frenzy once again.

I just 100% the single player. What a looooooong grind that became. I dreading trying to get some of the missing trophies. I don't know why I suddenly care about trophies. I never did before AC2. In a lot of ways, it was more fun just finishing the game instead of trying to get this crap. The mixing of offline and online trophies really grinds my gears.

I was confused for a moment, but I think I got it now. You meant the "get a full posse" trophy? I first thought you meant the 'kill a Rockstar' trophy I wanted from you. Thus teh confuzzlement.
If the posse one is the one you meant, then I'd be glad to help. Work aside, I'm usually free. Let me know when you'd like to give that a shot.

For trophy hunting, I planned a second playthrough already. Not immediately most likely. Gonna do some online stuff.
I don't much care for the online trophies being required for a Plat either. That's unfair to those who don't or can't play online. Adding online trophies after the fact, like Uncharted 2, is fine though.

Congrats on the 100% though. I'm only at around 65-70% myself. I don't look forward to playing poker.

Oh thats easy enough, Just get caught cheating by Everyone bar one member of the players, killing the others in duels (or disarming whichever) that leaves you with only one player to bust out.

I think the trophy is for the full 16 players. We had 8 in our posse the other day and it didn't give it to us. We managed to get 14 players in our lobby, but those last 2 were lil buggers to find.
Also now, all the co-op trophies have been added, but I still see no option for co-op in the game.

There are also trophies for winning FFA games, and reaching the highest rank in MP. Those are the ones that I'm debating if I even want to try to get them. I don't have a lot of interest right now in the MP stuff. I play COD when I want to play MP.

Thanks, Liam. I'll give that a shot. Don't think it'll work in the high stakes game though, will it? You can only play if you have the Gentleman's Attire, which I don't think you can cheat with. Not sure as I haven't tried.

Still no word on the co-op stuff. I am looking forward to it though.

Don't you guys hate it where in free roam, you're doing a mission and then some btch just shoots you for no reason? It happened to me like 5 times during 1 mission. If people want to kill other people they should save it for DM or gang shootouts.

You could make the game private either. I liked the last free roam I did with Pork, Toxxy & Canon, Western Drive-bys.

Free-Roam is technically unranked DM.. That's just Rockstar games, I'm afraid... Although it is fun if you can get everyone else in the free roam to turn against them and hunt them down.

Finished the game last night. I was disappointed to see that RDR joins the growing list of games where certain things happen at the end.
