I could.. could get the nuke without boosting, but here the problem

Im alwasy court out in the open, caming fail, i die when realoading, throwing knifes fail unless im in there face, im not good at the game, i fail..

Jag - I will try to explain it like this:

I'm a member of a football team, I'm pretty mediocre at this age level as it's two above the age group I previously competed in. I train hard four times a week to the point where I'm puking my guts up onto the grass, then standing up and running right through it. As shitty as the training maybe, every man's gotta do it. So I can have no complaints. Some people are naturally fitter or better with the ball than I am, but it just's makes me run faster.

In the same way, you get to learn the ins and outs of the maps, game modes etc, guys will have been playing longer than you and will have noticed hiding places you didn't spot, will know the high traffic spots too. There will be guys who are just plain sharper in a firefight than you are.

But on a football pitch, I am never going to touch a substance which will give me an unfair level of improvement, it undermines the effort of my teammates, and much more so, of my competitors. It will make me appear to perform at a level I am not truly capable of, where it would be far more admirable to reach that level via the blood and guts approach.

For the same reason I will never nuke boost, it gives me a reward I am not really deserving of. What's more it brings someone else down with you, and it's shamelessly obvious to all present that you're doing it.

A bad game can be shaken off, a bad reputation isn't so easy, and a cheater's reputation is absolutely impossible to shake.

still.. i suck, nuke boosting is MY only way of acheiving a nuke. Getting alot of failed attempts at getting one without CHEATING is a very hard thing to do, i watch videos constantly of people getting their harriers easy, even by using a sniper with no SP or just by knifing or spraying across the map. But when i try to replicate that, go onto the same map, hide in the same place, someone is just waiting their, waiting to see me and bam, there is blood all over my screen, or i get stunned and i cant see shit so idk if i went prone in time or if im still standing then bam, i get knifed. I even got my friend to play with me, cover my back... but he failed leaving just me to fight 2 people on my own, did i win? No... because i suck.

I think i no the maps, traffic areas, camping spots. But i guess i dont.

The only time i got near a nuke was when i was on rundown, i got my harriers from OMA glitching, but my harriers got quickly destroyed, i got my AC130, that got me a shit load of kills but guess what... i went and hid in the wrong spot so some guy picked me off at there pleasure (Dickheads, if you see a sniper or someone just camping just headshot em, get your gun camoflauges, not just be like HOLY SHIT *Sprays*, there we go)

thats why you get better at the game, your're not supposed to be able to just walk into a game and be able to destroy at it
plus getting a 25 kill streak is supposed to be hard, all yure doing is saying youre too lazy to actually play online and get good. you just want your nuke

@ eve: i think insom was talking about soccer, football, not american football

I agree with Insom on this one. Just takes a lot of practice Jag, if you keep playing online you'll eventually get your nuke.

Banded is correct, I believe Insom is talking about "futbol", aka soccer to us folks in North America.

@eve, banded and street: Gaelic Football, youtube and wikipedia will guide you to the only sport fit to bear the name football.

I am probably an eight out of ten player and sniper Jag, but I put in my grind the same as all the others, and when I see nuke boosting, I hunt it and block it round after round.

I'm not trying to get on your back personally. I hope you know that.

I will have to look that one up, thanks for the information on that sport. Sounds awfully interesting. From the images on Wikipedia it looks like regular football played with a volleyball, but that could just be my ignorance lol.

You've seen how bad I am Jag, I'm usually on the bottom of the leaderboard by the end of each match, but I'm still out there playing the game without trying to boost or anything. Yeah, I will admit that I'm not that good at the game, because unlike you I struggle to get Harriers, and wouldn't even dream of going for an AC130 but you get those no problem. I do know however that the only way for me to get better with that, and actually get to call in my own AC130 that's not coming in from a care package is to just keep practicing at playing the game. I know you'll get better if you keep trying, cuz all boosting will do is just help you get what you want, but you won't get any satisfaction out of it. I know it's odd for me to be talking like this, but I'm not going take the easy way out by glitching, using Super Soldier or OMA glitches, infinite noob tubes and whatnot. I do my best to stop boosters if I catch any in FFA games.

It's alot heavier than a volleyball. It's very difficult to explain.

On topic, the way I live my life is the one thing I can agree with my father on, work hard, play fair, play hard, when you deserve something good or bad, you will get it in time.

My dad dropped out of school when he was 16. Now at age 50, he doesn't "get out of bed for less than 45000STG/50000E/$70000". Hard work pays.

The man speaks the truth. Even though it took me a very long time to do, I can't describe how pleased I was seeing those end credits roll once I beat the game on Veteran. I'll be even more pleased once I tough it out finishing Spec. Ops. and get that Platinum trophy. Just keep at it Jag, you can do anything you set your mind to.

Actually, mine's slowly rising now that I'm beginning to get more into a sniper mentality. It was that a good game for me would be 20-15 or so. Now a good game is 15-7. Not wonderful, but I do end with a higher k/d though.
I think I'm gonna set myself a small goal. Go 20-5 sniping in one match. It'll probably take me an embarrassingly long time to meet it, but that's what I'm gonna aim for for now.

I give up on trying to be really good. Lately Ive been playing many FPS as well as other game types. i noticed coming back to MW2 once in a while my game has dropped tremendously, I mean, I dont even go positive anymore.
