| I have zero interest in Uncharted 3. I'm not going to waste my money and my time on a game full of "features" and "innovations" that I can't stand, and backed by a dev who completely fell apart at the wheel last time, regarding their online multiplayer.
I'll go back to MAG. Zipper more than earned my respect, across multiple titles, and consistent communication and support, even for their less popular titles. Naughty Dog might have learned, from the trainwreck that UC2 became, but I'm not really into wasting my money to risk finding that out. |

| I THINK WE SHOULD GIVE NAUGHTY DOG ANOTHER CHANCE , NO ONE HAS PLAYED THE MULTIPLAYER YET !! .Any complaints can't really be truly valid until we have played at least the beta and seen how everything meshes together into the final product , you never know what ND have pulled off until you play it yourself . It could be amazing , it could be catastrophic , we will have to wait and find out for ourselves . |

| You are entitled to spend your money on what ever you want Endlo, just don't shut the door on ND right away. I know how you feel and you almost convinced me yourself. U2 got shafted real quick. I'd wait for feed back if I where you. Get the facts then make a choice. MAG must be getting old by now. Aren't they slowly shutting down the servers? |

| Just a reminder - Uncharted series has some of the best single player campaigns out there. Its not just about multiplayer. |

Nah, servers are still going, as far as I know. The game still has a healthy population as well, so there shouldn't be any need to shut them down. |

| I would be more inclined to agree with Endlo if Uncharted 2 hadn't been Naughty Dog's very first time working with online gaming. Fact is, they made a respectable first attempt with it, and that's what they set out to do. Now, if they had a track record for making bad design choices, and if they had had any online experience before U2, then I would certainly be more apprehensive. But one trait I've come to expect from Naughty Dog is their capacity for improving with every new installment. So I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

| I'm holding on my comments until I actually tried the beta, but I have to say that some things looks awesome...and some simply don't.
So far, despite the many faults of the previous title, ND has my trust and I honestly think that this will be nothing but a 10. |

| To be honest I would be fine with neg boosters in U3, they improved my gameplay in U2, did they do the same for the rest of you? |

| Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I have to ask. Why isn't this in the U3 thread where everyone can see it?
Unless there's some reason I'm missing, I'll have to lock this. I'll leave it open a while to get an answer though. |

| I'd say something, but it'd be mean.
I'll give you that Uncharted 2 was their first foray into online play, Turtle, but it was pretty much a huge trainwreck of bad design choices. They started off so strongly, and just...gassed, and didn't have any idea what to do to fix what they'd broken, and stopped communicating with us. Those aren't exactly the kinds of things that instill a lot of faith in me, from a developer who would like me to plunk down the cash on release day, and throw them a few bones in the later DLC.
As far as MAG goes, Silver, no, they're not shutting the servers down, and I don't see that happening for a while. I'd be surprised if they did, the game has a healthy playerbase, and is a cult favorite, at this point in the game's life. It's not drawing a ton of new players, but it's got a solid base of fans right now, and hopefully they learned from some of the marketing mistakes made the first time around, and we see a much better campaign for MAG 2, and some new blood.

| Okay, so I've been watching some more footage from E3 and older vids and I am getting more and more convinced that ND has something really good going on here. It seems as if they are going back to 1.04 damage settings which is a welcome feature in my book. New weapons is always great, as long as they are balanced somewhat. Will defo be rocking the G-MAL From what we've been able to see, the maps looks great with lots of details and a good variation in areas that offer CQC and more open areas. The only concern have at the moment is how the whole Powerplay thing will work out, but who knows, maybe it'll be a nice, fresh touch. |

That sucks man, but the good thing about BoHs was that you could choose whether or not you wanted to use them, guess I just had a better experience with BoHs than most people did |
