A Victini is available over wifi for those with Black or White. You can't get this one in the game itself, so make sure to get him if you dont already have one.

So far my latest shiny hunt has been a failure. About 800 Gligar eggs and 700 Charmander eggs have yielded no results. On the bright side, my friend Alyx finally got her shiny Growlithe, so that is awesome.

Battling with my friend Ryann in a couple of hours. Her and I are basically rivals, so I expect some good fights. Ive been working on my Hitmonchan lately, so I hope the plan Ive been working on is successful. If it is...she is in for a world of hurt. If not, well, Im getting demolished. Laughing

Got a 'rival' huh? And you named them Ryann? Nice. Way to take the high road.

Well, she beat me 2 out of 3 teams. Hitmonchan worked most of the time, but I made a couple of mistakes that really screwed over my team. My Choice Scarf idea was good, but I need to fine tune it...

I always do my name and a rival's name similar to movies, video games, etc. Like TAK and IGGY (Initial D) which worked well with Pearl or JIN and KAZUYA (Tekken) for Gold and HeartGold...
Names like Alex are way too plain Razz

NOW when it comes to names for Pokemon... Laughing 'MySexyLove' works fantastic for a Bulbasaur at the start, but seems skeptical for a Venusaur. Sexy indeed.

Initial D is awesome. I need to go pick up Vol 11 at some point. Also probably gonna need to re-read 1-10 because I haven't read them in a long time.

I think if Nintendo really wants to cash in on Pokemon, they'll have to give the fans what they want and make a console based Pokemon MMORPG.

I'm not saying that an MMO is where they should take the series, I think it's fine going in the direction that it is now. I just mean that the MMO should be an add on game, similar to the ones that were on the Gamecube.

I don't see a MMO or more graphically pleasing Pokémon game coming out any time soon. Maybe even ever. Gamefreak, and more specifically Nintendo, has made some very important decisions and personally I think they made them extremely well... As the older generations grow out of Pokémon, newer generations come in. So that the older Pokémon don't seem so 'old-fashioned' and 'out of date', they design new Pokémon under the same name to cater to their new audience. Most young children wouldn't play a MMO or an on-par-with-Skyrim game. This is the only solid reason why their games and merchandise seem childish and less graphically enhanced games will be cheaper therefore more can be bought. One day when Nintendo has enough money to rule the world they might make something to cater to the older generations but it's VERY unlikely that they will. All I can see is that they would rather move forward instead of taking a step back.

With that said Nintendo as a whole recycles characters because we grew up with them. Most parents nowadays will think, "Hey, I helped Mario save Peach when I was a kid. My kids can do the same!" Thus go with the familiar up-to-date sort of ‘shiny’ choice. Thus the cycle “Then their kids will say the same!”

I think this is where Sony/Microsoft based companies fail. Most of their characters will have a short life span and have told their story. Ratchet/Jak/Cole/Nathan Hale/Joseph Capelli could only save the world so many times. Mario on the other hand will always have to save Peach and race go karts. Sonic will always side scroll at amazing speeds from A to B. Think of it like the movie “I Am Legend”. The script wanted to make it where the guy lived, but Hollywood killed him off, limiting it to only one movie. The only way to revive it is to bring in another character. I guess that's why games like that will appeal to older generations, instead of beating a dead horse, we get a new horse and run it into the ground. New generations find it technically new with Mario, having never experienced him as long as we have. I’m confident in knowing my kids will grow up and be familiar with Mario and a 6th and 7th gen of Pokémon alongside the current 5 generations. But without us they will never know just how amazing the original Spyro games were or how epic Goku’s transformation into a Super Sayain was.

Over and out :/ Sorry for that guys... Razz
