It's pretty great, Realm. And the catalyst, in addition to giving it 2 in the mag and better wolfpack rounds gives anyone else nearby using any rocket launcher wolfpack rounds too.

That's pack hunter, not even a catalyst perk. Pack hunter is activated on non-exotic* rocket launchers from Gjally being shot.
Interested to find out what the damage from the wolfpack rounds is based on (i.e., is the damage from wolfpack rounds on other rockets proportional to that rocket launchers's base damage; is it a flat number; do they get a buff from armour mods?)

That's actually probably a good balance the way it's done. I don't know what its catalyst is yet though. But if it only kicks into really high damage against unshielded opponents, its perk is fairly pointless in crucible since pretty much any headshot on a shieldless guardian will kill them anyhow. It gets to be really sweet in PvE without breaking PvP.

The aim takes care of itself on the magnum
With the pace of crucible slowing down, it's not a bad option in some maps. The only condition... you need to like crucible.

100 range , 96 recoil, 200 rpm and the MASSIVE hit box combine to give it a time to kill (TTK) value of .6 (.67 if you pace your shots) seconds up to ~50 meters. In 6v6, I'm sure there will be some popularity growth as more guardians obtain it. In 3v3 modes, where the pace is naturally slower, if one person runs magnum, it would add a ton of lane pressure. Like a scout rifle that shoots at 200 rmp.

I tend to disregard what most streamers say about pretty much anything PvP and most other stuff that isn't guides for raid collectables and such. They make a living getting your attention, so it seems like every thing that comes out is either "absolutely broken" or "trash."
That's not to say they can't be right, or that they don't have a lot more experience than the average player. Just something to keep in mind and take their opinions with a grain of salt.

Monks, Evey, lil ole chopzy needs help with my gally catalyst on the dungeon

Haven't done it yet either myself. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but if I can get back from it early enough I'll message you and hop on. Assuming Eve doesn't beat me to the punch. Can definitely 2-man the whole thing though.
