same for my friend. he went to a launch party, not because he liked the game, but because he had nothing better to do. he wasnt planning on ever owning it, but he won it there.

Cant go wrong with free games. Even if you didnt care for it, its a value to someone so its good for selling if not playing, mhmm.

Had some up and down games tonight. Battling my consistancy at the moment. I seem to be stalled at 1.84 overall. my goal is for 2.0 so....we'll see.

I have to change my mindset on the objectives. I overthink too much and just get myself killed when I try to be effective. But considering my class of choice, I'm not built for really getting in there that much I guess.

Congrats on being featured Six. You earned it that match for sure.

ggs Az. It was fun times. Not much more to go on my engineer now. Just about have everything purchased.

Silly as it may sound...i think I will move onto tactician next. I picked him once or twice last night just to be able to cap some of the 'areas" and was surprised how comfy it felt.

YEah having better spawn points are huge in those match types. Especially warzone. I love being able to get a better spawn hehe

I think they changed the ability to set up a turret in an enemy spawning area - can anyone confirm?

So, after playing a match with Six I've found that the party system is really a pain in the ass. I sent him an invite, he came in - we're good to go. We play a match of warzone which our team won 4 - 2. Good game. However, I figured six would enjoy being featured again in Operations so after the Warzone match I back us out.

From there, you would think you could choose what matchtype to search for. Not so. The only option is to join an existing match. When doing so, an error message came up saying that no matches could be found. The only remedy was for me to back out.

From there I go to join six but then it said the mao he was in was full when he wasn't even in game. Apparently all people have to leave the squad before going back in again to change match types. Now I dont know if this was a one off, but if you back out of a match/lobby, you should be able to search for a brand new match - not search for an existing one only.

Also, forcing EVERYONE to back out of the squad, even when they're by themselves, seems stupidly redundant to me. So I was hoping to get a second game in before I had to go to the telethon, but with all the weirdness, I had to bail. Rawr....at least with R2's broken party system the leader could still choose exactly where the party was going to go and not force EVERYONE to back out just to start over again.

/rant. Now excuse me while I go play some more GW.....*stalks away*

yea it does suck, you either need to disband the squad, and set it back up again, or kick anyone who isnt back in the lobby with you from the squad.

I am beginning to really like Operations more and more only because its about the most personal matches you can get from this game. And yeah I was stoked that one day. Only because we literally had 25 seconds to place the last and final charge...and I did.!!!!

yea operations is awesome. just another reason I cant wait for brink (the whole game is basically a more in depth operations mode)

Server Side Maintenance March 18th - 9:00am GMT



Hi all,
Tomorrow we will be doing a server side update to improve performance. The servers will be brought down at 9:00 am GMT.
This is only the first step in improving performance.
After the server maintenance we will be rolling out the patch 1.06. Some territories will get this faster than others!
The patch will improve some performance issues on the client side.
We are 'skipping' 1.05. That contained a fix for the score processing issue. It has been incorporated in 1.06. We did this in order to get both fixes out to you as soon as possible.

They dont really list what, but supposedly server things to fix some of the lag, which, imo is worse in this game than any COD game I have ever played. I can put 200 rounds into a guy only to have him shoot me once and kill me. I dont know if any of you guys here who play have noticed any lag....but I sure have.

Hopefully they fix it.

I havent really seen THAT much lag as an issue. Only once or twice which is odd.
