Seriously, the GAU is a force to be reckoned with if you have a good team and support. ithout support its a one hit wonder. You can rail off maybe a couple good kills but then eventually someone will get you in the back. With support even if you get taken out by a sniper, one of your guys can get that GAU back to keep it active and can then take over or fill in. 3 at the top and then 2 others running around flushing people up towards the hellfire.

First of all if someone had an RPG you would have all been fucked and Raist you kind of didn't play so well once you started to play lol, I personally would love to know how someone with Double Negatives can get more kills and fewer deaths in a DM than someone with SA, guess its just a matter of skill, when I hit 60 I might play one game of Plunder using both positives, one being SA, just to see how well I do

Anyone else think the worst level is 51 (or at least one of the worst)? You get the huge experience curve of the last ten levels - but without any decent negative boosters to help.

51 was definitely the worst, for me. 59 was easy. 15 million sounds scary, but it goes by quick enough, and you're so excited to be inching closer to being free.

Turtle, I know you were messing around with your style a bit last night, and we didn't get to talk about it much, but what is your preferred style? What weapons interest you? I know that exploration can be rough, I didn't find my niche until my mid 30's, when Shayan taught me about the FAL.
All you can really do is explore your options a bit. see what you like doing, and make refining that style your focus.

I'm definitely fond of the 9mm. I find that it's just a little easier to aim accurately than the AK, plus it frees up my long gun slot for shotguns or Hammers or RPGs or what have you - there are a lot more desirable big guns than handguns.

Which isn't to say I can't hold my own with the AK. I'd like to think I'm decent to good with both the default weapons.

I really like sniping but I just don't feel safe when I camp. I'd like to get better with the Dragon Sniper. Maybe not to the point where I can cross-map someone with a blindfire shot like in that one video, but good enough that I don't waste the few shots that come with the weapon.

The FAL is definitely the high-ammo answer to the Dragon Sniper, but I hate that it fires in such short bursts. Great accuracy (especially with DtI, but I don't want to spoil myself with that when I'll be running Invalid instead soon enough), but it seems that whenever I use it, I get one burst off before they take cover. There's a lower risk, but a lower reward as well.

But I'm just saying that because I almost never use the FAL and haven't had much practice with it. I've seen what some of you guys can do with that gun at The Fort, or The Village.

I consider myself to be a good sniper but I find myself needing to scope to get the cross map kills, imo it doesn't really matter if you can get a no scope kill but if you can get the kill at all is fine, with me that is.

You don't really need DtI with the FAL, its recoil is basically non-existent, at least from what I can tell, the cover system can be a little broken sometimes, take cover but the bullets still deal some damage, that or it is just my lag, probably both.

When it comes down to it everyone benefits from a different combo depending on their play style, I like Keep Firing or Bandoleer becausde I don't really move side to side in gun fights, one of my flaws, but I still do well in gunfights, on a good day that is.

Sorry about last night guys, probably could have worded what I said about Raist better, think I also forgot to mention that when he said "now I can actually play," and thrn got killed reminds me of a friend of mine because every time he says to me "let's be stealthy" someone literally always let's the other person, one of our friends, that we are there or they shout out and are behind us so the other person sees us, Raist was probably just off that game, happens to the best players as well as the moderate players like myself.

Also sorry about ruining your fun, I do that to my friends in real life all the time, just who I am, I guess
