| What might cause that? Did you change difficulty at any point? (I forget if you can even do that in this game.) |

| I honestly have no idea, didn't change difficulty, didn't play chapters in random order. Started yesterday, from start to finish on hard, yet no ka-ching for Reo...
I did howver try the final chapter again (yes, I had the pleasure of battling it out with Mr Lazarevic again) and this time I did get it.
Strange, but crushing - here I come (to get humiliated) |

| Crushing really isn't too bad. Most people seem to find that one spot that holds them up for a while, but overall, it's not too much different.
I cheesed Lazarevic with the punch method on crushing, so I can't speak for how hard he might be otherwise, but my stumbling block was Draza. That fight took me a few hours, and I still think it was partially luck, but I hear other people had no issues with him. |

| You completed 'Hard' in one day? Was it an early start? You'll probably find Crushing quite easy for the most part, it only seems that the tricky parts have been made any more difficult.. The Trainyard, Train/Heli combo, Draza, Guardians and Lazarovic at the end. |

| The Guardians are the most difficult part of a Crushing playthrough unless you have four grenades - then you can just use all four on one Guardian, steal his Crossbow, and take the rest out with a few well-aimed headshots. It's really only the first time you fight them that gets difficult, because the other occasions provide you with suitable weapons to kill them - if you know what you're doing. |

Haha, I'd have a hard time doing so. - Endloslung wrote:

And yes, Draza was hell on Hard for me, I fear Draza in Crushing - Leo337 wrote:

The Trainyard, Train/Heli combo, Draza, Guardians and Lazarovic at the end. Yeah, I just decided that I've been postponing the Plat for quite a while now and wanted to get it done already, it's just so damn boring playing the story mode right after I've finished it. |

| I'll see if I can explain this well enough, it's been a few months since I've touched the campaign.
Ideally you'll move into place as soon as the fight starts. There are a few resin pouches around the burning pool in the center. You want to be around one of these pouches. When you melee Lazarevic, you'll normally be thrown into a square-only QTE, when Lazarevic tries to choke you. After the QTE, he'll fall to his knees, for a second. Rarely, instead of grabbing you, he'll just hit you with the butt of his gun.
The strategy is to position yourself by a resin pouch, and ignite it. Then you'll do the melee loop a few times, and the pouch will regrow. Ignite the resin again, hurt Lazarevic, repeat the process until he's defeated.
If that doesn't make sense, I know it's on youtube, and I could find you a video. |

| If you can find it, Endlo, that would be appreciated. On a side note, I'm aware noone really cares, but I'm gonna put the MP on hold for a while now. Last game today ended 6-15 and I am just getting worse at this game. I have no gameplan, I lose almost every 1v1 these days, I get frustrated as noone is using negatives anymore, instead they're rocking SA with some power weapon booster and camp for the entire game while I'm out there with Invalid & Half-Loaded. Yeah, I'm a cranky SOB EDIT: Were you refering to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ? |

| Reo, we do like having you on. We won't care if you take a break and just do singleplayer for a while. On the negative situation. Nobody uses negatives anymore. Period. I used invalid/half loaded when I was a level 55-56. I stopped enjoying the game. I was upset every death, and didn't have fun. It seems like you are experiencing the same feeling right now. I would say just stick to Evasion or rapid hands and half loaded, or invalid and fleet foot/scoped in. I've seen you play, and you usually fill in the top 2 spots in a deathmatch. Invalid/half laded is very hard to work with in your favor. I eventually stuck to half loaded and just didn't max cap every game. But the game became fun again, and that is the point of games to enjoy them in a recreational way. The definition of game is: an amusement or passtime, not "hate in a package for 60 dollars. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I hit 59 last night Let the real grind begin |

| Hey there Static Welcome to the community! Check out the intro thread if you would like. For shotty users, the key is to keep your distance. If you're lucky enough to see one, just back away while shooting. Or, if they're closer, try and create some distance first or drop a nade while running away to create that distance. If they catch you off guard, you're out of luck |

| I approve of the Shotty lab, it's a blast. Working on a few map strategies, I'm pretty happy with our Village game, and it's a popular map in this Lab.
Welcome aboard, Static-Star1. Raist covered the Shotgun question pretty well. Use your distance as a weapon against them, and seconding what was also mentioned with grenades. They're a way to create some angles for you, and worst case, you can try to take the Shotty with you and break even. As far as Situational, that's the million dollar question. Knowledge is pretty powerful, and Sitch provides it on demand. Without using it, or Evasion, I'd say try to be as aware as possible, and be ready for ambushes in high traffic areas. Unconventional routes or angles might catch them off-guard, so keep that in mind as well.
I've started to experiment with Awareness, if I see or notice a trend or weakness, I'll try to post it, as well, so we can get some conversation going. |
