The thing about Win/Loss Ratios is that one can't affect them by himself. It's definitely possible to turn the tide of a match by oneself, but the game is played with teams for a reason - it's a team effort. K/D is a more direct measurement of skill, in my opinion.

Also, finally got I Told You I Was Hardcore today. Played with a guy who was awesome at co-op. Made it through the final stretch in the Sanctuary map in one life (and we actually had to, since we had died twice before due to horrible luck).

I have to agree with you to an extent one the K/D vs. W/L although wouldn't you rather win than do good. I personally find enjoyment in helping my team to victory rather than serving my K/D spread.

Personally, I'd like to both win and do well. But given the choice, I'd rather succeed in the area that is dependent upon my own skill rather than upon ND's flawed matchmaking system (no offense to ND, because they're awesome in every other area... but the matchmaking still needs to be fixed). Of course, that brings up another observation of mine - and maybe this is just me - it seems like my best matches are always played when my team loses, and when my team wins, I'm at the bottom rung on the scoreboard. I'm not sure that's a coincidence. >_>

yea i deff. noticed a change in the FAL and the Dragon and i think they needed to do that with all players (what they did to level sixty players)

I felt the same way but with alittle more practice you can get really good some tips:

1. use down the irons to get better at aiming
2. if you want use fleet foot to move side to side while aiming and shooting ( dont make yourself a Still target)
3. when getting fired at try alternation between rolls and jumps and as soon as you see cover USE IT!!! then reagin health
4. use boosters to your playing style: if you use grenades alot use explosive expert, if you use the hammer or rocket launcher use rocket man or the hammer booster and so on and so on.
5. keep try to play with alot of high level people to get better, your not going to get better by playing against low level people.
6. MAKE FRIENDS!!!!!!! get a party going and play with good people
IF YOU USE THESE TIPS YOU WILL CERTAINLY GET BETTER!!

It's really sad to play plunder now that I'm a somewhat high level.
People play it as deathmatch, just now I had a game with Silver boy, and we were playing againt 2 60's using SA and camping our base.
The funny thing is that after they killed me, they wouldn't even go for the bloody treasure!

We won 5-1, but my kd went something like 10-30, although I don't really care in plunder.
Just tragic to see people don't give a rats ass about objectives, and they are the same saying the game needs other modes to make the game more all-round....

I am really annoyed that I will miss the Sniper Elimination Lab weekend, going to camp and no electronics allowed there! I will be bringing my phone with me so I'll still be on here every now and again but yeah, taking a break from the PSN for about 8 weeks during the summer

I took the NYS Global History Regents today and there was a question on Marco Polo, comparing him to Ibn Battuta, I think I have found my boosters for lvl 60, Raist's combo of Evasion/Fleet Foot, even though I don't really move side to side that often it helps being able to do that sometimes as well as being able to move around a corner WHILE aimed at fairly the same speed as not being aimed will be helpful and does Evasion really need to explained?

The Sniper Rifle is my long range weapon of choice, sorry Endlo but I am not a fan of the FAL in competitive play, I don't really mind Elimination as much as I used to, I use Evasion and Sure Foot as my boosters for that because so many people use SA and the grenade weapons and since it is a no respawn game mode I actually mind going up against someone using that booster

On topic - No Uncharted 3 teasers at E3 today. I am teh disappoint.

I have grown to using glass jaw OR half loaded in elim. If I notice that nobody is a high enough level to use SA, or don't use it after playing with them, I'll rock glass/bandoleer. I use this because the only weapon that I use in elim. The other combo I use is evasion/half. I use this obviously because of SA users, and half because it is a negatives. On good matches, I will get 5 kills in an elimination. It is a better strategy that I have figured out gets you more money

And I keep laughing at every time I look at my stats card my KDR goes down 0.01

Thats exactly what I'm gonna do as soon as I reach 57, don't think I'll ever put on Invalid again and have my confidence sinking to the bottom of the sea.

I can do with Half-Loaded since it doesn't really affect the primary 2 weapons I use; FAL & 92FS.
I'll switch between Evasion/Half-Loaded and Juggler/Half-Loaded if I'm facing people not using SA.

I've actually stopped with Situational for a while, I was using Rapid Hands and Fleet. Just disgruntled victims of cornersnipes. I'm a camping cheater, the usual.

Guys, thanks for doing a trial workshop today. It was rough and unplanned, but I hope it was at least somewhat helpful. They'll be better organized in the future, today was just kinda right place right time, with everybody on.
