I find without Stopping power it's nearly always two or three shots, unless you hit the melon or upper torso area.
I'd suggest Sleight of hand pro, Stopping power and Ninja pro... The first for the faster ADS, Stopping for the obvious and Ninja pro because then there's more chance of surprising someone round a corner and getting the shot in quick before they open up on you.
Gore says the EBR is pretty handy for that, BTW, it's like an Assault rifle with it's rate of fire.

Yes, I have been using the EBR a lot lately, but I wanted to try and get some of the old fashioned basics sorted out and it seemed one of the two main rifles would be the best to practice with. The EBR seems to have the same fire rate as the Barrett.
Ok, so I hadn't put Stopping Power Pro on so I'll try that next. I'm five kills towards the 75 needed for FMJ. Some way to go then.

If you haven't checked this one out, I find this one really funny. Turn up your volume, and warning, some curse words. "There's someone in the gift shop" Basically a guy messing with a kid trying to boost.

What bothers me is the way that kid talks to an adult.

Somewhere there are parents that have successfully pawned their kid off onto video games. Easy job now.

Stopping power, sleight of hand, and steady aim on all snipers.
I’m partial to the 50 cal but it depends on what you want to do. The intervention is easier to use if you are running and gunning. It’s also better for quick scopes. You can quick scope with the 50 cal but you are much better off just shot gunning people with it.
Thanks Hoos. Yes, what I want to try to improve is my quick scoping so that it becomes more of a reflex. At the moment I spend ages hard scoped trying to line up the shot. Needless to say, I generally then miss or get killed. I'll certainly add Stopping Power. If I'd had that on earlier I would have got three or four more kills on a pretty good round I had on Wasteland. I took 3 shots to kill one guy, two shots on another and lost four because the first shot didn't drop them.

Well, stop that!
When you see a bad guy, pull up your scope, put the bad guy in the middle of your scope and shoot. Don’t try to line up the shot. Even if you don’t get him, you’ll start to get use to bringing up the scope and firing all in a fluid motion.
All this sniping talk is making me want to cut another video.

hoos: how bout you make a video just for eat, like a sniping video, perks you should use, how to quick scope and stuff, prolly once he watches it he will understand "sniping" better. eat: not to be rude but in my opinion the EBR is weak, and bad for sniping, zero recoil is good but having to shoot 2-3 times to kill someone isnt what a sniper rifle should be, its should be 1 shot to kill, anywhere on the body. Like the barrett for e.g .50 BMG round, anti tank material and to kill someone you have to aim at chest hight, i mean seriously, its a .50cal bullet, should be like BAM, and your dead.
anyway.

This morning I discovered the counter-spell for Stopping Power Pro: lag.
I equipped my sniper class with SoH, SP, and Ninja (all pro). In the first game I got one shot kills. In the second game, the lag set in. Enemies were teleporting 10 feet at a time. I put THREE Intervention rounds into one guy and then he spat at me and I died. Another guy took four or five Rafica bursts (which has FMJ equipped) before he went down. Conclusion? You can't practise quick scoping when there's lag.

Unlikely I'll be around then, but we'll see. I'm at work, but I might be finishing early; it depends on how well my marking goes.

LOL @ that video OMG THERES SOMEONE IN THE GIFT SHOP! i was cracking myself every time
On sniping... i used to use FMJ, sleight of hand and.. uhm.. OH YEAH., steady aim i think it was but then changed to stopping pro
i always found that if i tried to line it up correctly it would take too long and the guy would move and thus making me fail my shot, but when i just aimed and fired as quick as i could i always seemed to kill them.. along with running around shotgunning them in the head with the 50.cal ;D
i always hip fire the 50. better than when aiming down the sights :/ so i need to improve on using the acutal scope..

Eaty the word practice has a second "C", not an "S". Just thought I'd let you know lol. /Grammar Nazi
Good Games to Leo, Toxxy, Six, and everyone I can't remember at the moment that I played with yesterday.
So I finally got my ACR back last night, man I missed my baby lol. Within the first 2 games of having it I got about 30 kills, and with hardline on I seem to be able to get Care Package, Predator and Harriers every now and then. Almost got 2 Harriers in one game. I don't think I've improved though, cuz after that good game stretch of about 5 games I went back to doing awful.

Yeah, doesn't seem like it's been that long anyway. Man I missed that gun lol. I miss the Red Tiger, 1,000 kills and all the attachments I had for it even more tho.

I'd have to hire somebody to do the commentary for me. My accent has gotten worse since I move closer to the North Carolina border. It's not near as bad as say somebody from Kentucky but I can't even understand myself sometimes. So, the chance of Eat translating me is not good.

How about a commentary through subtitles? If not then I wouldn't mind helping me out. Not sure if I have anything to record just audio on my computer. Ventrillo perhaps? Would that work with audio recording?

Oh I forgot to mention that last night in one of my games I managed to get a triple kill off of a Predator Missile, which just so happened to give me a game winning kill as well. Dumb Luck was on my side with that one lol.
Lmao that's a good one Eve. I don't think I have an accent, so that's why I don't mind volunteering. Do all of you guys think I have an accent though?
