More exploration of the world of Bioshock. Not necessarily in Rapture. For example, the games always go on about how the 'surface world' is after Rapture's secrets. Well, what if somewhere had gotten some of them? Adam slugs could've been captured, smuggled, and raised elsewhere. Surely Ryan didn't gather ALL the smart people in the world. Following this idea would allow for plasmids developed for different places, along different lines. You could fight different enemies with different weapons. Perhaps even less humanoid ones. *sigh* Wishful thinking, I know, but it would still be nice. From my Bioshock 2 review. Maybe the thinking wasn't quite so wishful after all. ^_^ This isn't 2K though, is it? Certainly looks good in the trailer, but I wonder how they'll match up. Guess we'll see. |

| The developer of this is Irrational Games... Which is the developer Insomniac has been using to help tease their own announcement. Hmm. |

| It looks like it takes place in a rapture 2.0. it will likely still have the same sort of feel as rapture, with a new location, new characters, and new story |

| Well, I'm glad they haven't just sold the franchise for parts. But I do hope to see an improvement over the second game. They have apparently brought America into this in a bigger way (we just get into everything, we're such rascals). And those Not Big Daddy things are weird. I saw nothing of Little Sisters, which is good, imo. Bioshock should continue, but Rapture is dead and should be left alone. Nice fake out at the beginning there. Who is this apparently doomed guy in the trailer? Who's the lady? There was no obvious plasmid in use, so how was she doing that? Can't wait for more info. |

Can't wait for more info. her name is Elizabeth, and your mission is to find her and get her off of Columbia (the name of the city) EDIT: and btw irriational games (the people making this game) made the 1st bioshock, but not the 2nd one |

| Didn't know they were involved with the series at all before. Even looking over the game case, I found no mention of them. Had to go look at Gamefaqs to dig up the info, and you're quite right. They were indeed in on the first one. This does give me more reason to be excited as I liked the first one a great deal more in most respects. |

| here is IGN's rewind trailer [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]one thing they apparently aren't aware of is this is not a bioshock prequel, this is more of a re-imagining of bioshock |

| Game Informer has a good read on it. Apparently you rescue Elizabeth in the middle of a civil war. |
