Had a 16 kill streak last night online.

Anyways, Im currently playing through on Hard mode. Ive found exactly 50 of the treasures. (Where in gods name are the rest!?)

Had some good practice on the new maps with Ratchet. We then had some nailbiting coop matches and solid comp matches. On my first day I've maintained a 3.84 K/D. I'm surprised! But happy. Now I must sleep. Been up all night getting all of the treasures. All I need is to beat the game on crushing and I have my platinum. Hooah! zzzzzzz

Got it today. Its fun so far, I'm on the "follow the blood trail in the shpooky cave" part.

Great games indeed Raistlin. Disappointed we didnt win the Co-Op Survival match, but I still had a lot of fun.

my trial expired about a week ago so that why i have never played it

Well, I started my Crushing runthrough. Now THIS is what I expected for difficulty. About 4 shots and you're toast. two shots and you're in the grey with the heart pounding. I'm at the first major firefight where you get to the dig where Lazarovich's notes are and Sully is covering you. I died about 3 times and I expect quite a few more before I clear it. This is hwo Uncharted 1 went for me so, its going to take me a bit but here's hoping I can stick it out.

Crushing update - Currently at the monastery About 1/8th through. Difficulty is challenging. But still only dying 3 - 4 times before clearing areas. Toughest part for me so far that I started getting annoyed at was the one on one vs Draza. And thats because a lot of the times when you go to melee the button key doesn't show up to avoid the enemies counter and even though I was mashing it, I couldn't counter. I died at least 10 - 12 times before I got past the cheap bastard.

Anyhow, the platinum craving is getting stronger. Must....have....

Hardly ever find players when I search for that.
Plus, several people on my friends list are playing, but always the single player.
I can understand why, of course. It's teh awesomesause +5.
Just about to hit level 23 on the multiplayer. I like Plunder. Good mode.
RPGs Only on the Train Wreck level is just crazy. So hard to see with everything blanketed by the snowstorm.

I do wonder why I keep seeing low level people using high level boosters, though. It's kinda annoying to keep killing level 15 or so guys and be taken out by their level 48 Revenge booster. (Drops a live grenade on death. lol ) Was unlocking that a pre-order bonus or something?

I think my favorite funny moment of the main game is near the beginning.

Actually, it was on the map we failed on. The same strategy was used there, stay in the little building in the center and mow them down. However, at about Round 8 we had to retreat because there were too many of them. We then moved to a ledge behind the building, and proceeded to win the game.

Im currently on Chapter 5. Im trying to stay away from fist fights now, as Im not countering their punches as well as before.

I'll have to get some more coop done with you then. We should get Monkey or DJ in there with us and clean house. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is having troubles with the melee attacks. Its like if the triangle buttom sign doesn't come up, they WILL counter and hurt you. Ugh....

I finished the game last night. Just an amazing game. I was sad to see it end.

Finished last night myself. Loved it.

Im up for some more Co-Op this weekend. I have several fully upgraded weapons too.

That being said, this will probably be my last weekend on U2 for a bit. Ratchet and Clank is next week, so I will be focusing my attention on it very soon.

So thats my timeline then Ratchet? I have to beat crushing by this weekend....gah! I'm doing U2 like I did R2. Get the platinum or at least all of the offline trophies/achievements before going online. But, I'm at the Broken Paradise Chapter right now ( I think thats like 22 or 23). Still no major hangups like U1 crushing. But this part I'm at now might pose a frustration. We'll see. Steady as she goes. Apparently there's some sweet skins available to unlock once you beat the game on crushing and once you get the platinum. So I want to bring those out online since so many people have the regular ones. So many people just went straight online so they havent gotten the hard stuff rewards yet mwa ha ha.

Anyhow. Sleeps now.

I just stormed the Monastery last night, the way I cleared the courtyard of snipers was like a f**king Bond film... I literally stood there afterwards looking around at the bodies feeling smug, LoL. Elena was all "Come and help with this door!" Drake was "Yeah... In a minute! ...Oh yeah, not sniping now are you buddy? Woo Hoo!"

Online multiplayer = lags so much for me that it's virtually unplayable.

It has all the hallmark features, takes forever to kill someone but I drop in two shots, meleed from a distance, opponents drop to the floor and then kill me, grenades fly over my head and then I die... I am seriously considering downgrading my broadband again to see if it helps, feeling this frustrated every night just isn't right.

I've noticed a bit of lag myself. Not too bad here, though.
I can relate to the "down in two shots" thing. I've been blaming it on headshot damage being high like it is in single player because sometimes I can pop someone in two shots too. Other times a whole clip gets nothing.

A tip for anyone who plays online: Don't neglect the "Pull Down" move. You'd be amazed how many people don't pay attention. This might only really work in these early stages where everyone's a noob, but Imma milk it while it's here.
But do watch out for the two or three of us that know the counter, Kick Off move.

If I occasionally got a two-hit kill I'd be a lot happier, Monkey...

I tend to go for pistol headshots because it's easier to aim and sometimes put 5 or 6 into someone before they drop.

This morning I shot a guy point blank in the chest with the Desert-Eagle and he kept running and eventually meleed me.

Which brings me to a question: Does having the skin with the body-armour actually give you body-armour?

No, means his internet is on PCP.

And no Leo, the Draga skin does not actually give you armor. You need to shoot someone twice in the body with a Desert Eagle to get the kill. (Or once in the head, which is always a fun thing to do.)

Exactly 1 week to the day - I have platinum'ed this bad boy. The credits are rolling in the background Kudos to the Dev's for making a game I could fall so easily into. Multiplayer here I come. This is the fastest I have ever platinum'ed a game. I've surprised myself. Considering I work full time and have hung out with friends and gone out, I'd say this is quite a feat. For me anyways. If you have yet to play this game at least rent it to enjoy it. SO recommend it even for just the single player!

Do remember that you can stealth kill those. Great tactic I've found in to have someone punch them (the puncher will get kicked back, so watch it) and a second after the Armor guy regains his balance hit them with a melee attack from behind. Instant kill.

Of course, you can't do that to those cheating wraithers...er, I mean GAU wielders.

Kudos, Raistlin. I've never platinum'd one that fast. Haven't really attempted it yet, but do you have any advice for getting the Survivor trophy? 75 kills seems like a looooong streak, even if it is only against story AI.

Dude, all you need to do is start a chapter on easy mode and just play through without dying. Very easy one to get ^^ Chapter 6 is quick, easy and accessible Abuse that is my advise ^^
