| I'm sort of debating going back to Glass Jaw, just to give myself a bit of a challenge in this game, but at the same time I love my Evasion/Fleet Foot combo, if there is any game that I love to be a ninja in, that is not about ninjas, obviously, it is an Uncharted game |

| People still use Evasion? Outside of Elimination, anyway? |

| I've encountered it a fair amount, I just find it more useful than DtI since it guarantees that unless the person is smart with their U2 playing I can sneak up on people, I use my favorite Marco Polo and Genghis Khan skins, just love playing as historical characters, hope ND lets me bring them into U3, that would make that game even better lol |

| sure, that would be fun, tbh I'm not a 100% fan of the game, will probably just get through the campaign and then be done with it, U3 might be out by then anyway, at the rate I'm going lol
If they do release a M32-hammer lab that should be interesting, they better let us use boosters in it cuz geez its so annoying not having boosters, I would probably use freaking GJ/HF or CGS for it then lol |

The thing is, Vrals, that not many lobbies have dumb SA users. 4/5 times there aren't any SA users at all, as I come across. But DTI will always be effective, and really won't waste a booster slot because you can count on it no matter what booster the enemy is using. The only time that I use Evasion, is when I am against a group of SA users for multiple games, that I know clearly can't function without SA. It's like gambling using it when you are joining a new lobby, because the odds are, that you will just have a wasted top slot booster, instead of something that could really help you out like DTI or Rapid Hands. |

| Thanks for the games last night, Charlitos. Started the first game with a double down j-nade and the second with a j-nade aswell. I noticed that you have to aim a bit higher and more to the left than we initially thought About the usage of evasion....I've pretty much dropped it unless I am playing well known users of SA or in plunder/elimination. The thing is, I usually play DM and I will often avoid common "SA spots", such as the bottom area of the Sanctuary or the shotgun area of the Temple. If you wanna rock SA, be my guest, but then you'll have to come after me and actually engage me in a 1v1 I've noticed that my footwork is lacking a bit so I'm gonna work on that for now, hopefully that'll make me a beast in 1v1 |

| Evasion to me, is a sunk cost. You're expending your resources, and forsaking another tangible benefit, to simply be put back onto par, with a Situational Awareness user. They're still able to generate benefit from their booster, and positive advantage, even if you're "immune", unless your entire team is rocking Evasion. That's a pretty huge sacrifice, and I've never really thought the trade-off was worth it.
I think that Situational is hands down the most powerful booster in the game, but it's because it's a source of free information. Information is easily the most powerful resource that we have in this game, because when you combine that information with your experience, and your intuition, you're often going to be making strong plays, and making sure that you push your advantage into a win, whatever the encounter may be. You could put Situational on the same level as anything else, though. How long have we advocated listening, in this game? Gunfire, footsteps, character vocalizations, grenade beeps, the sound of the weapons being fired, those are all just as important sources of information, that we use constantly. The same can be said for teammate communication. That's all information, and if you head into a skirmish aware of what's going on, you're able to maximize your leverage going into the situation, and minimize your risks, to ensure the best possible outcomes.
With Evasion, you're giving up a solid set of tangible benefits, not the least of which, is something like Down the Irons, to try to "blind" a player, or isolate one of their sources of information. It's a sacrifice that although...seems powerful, isn't that useful, because they're still able to gain information from their booster, and all of their other resources, and you're still down something. You gave up something tangible, to try to partially eliminate one of their advantages. You trade up a whole, for a partial and circumstantial benefit, and that's why I've always advocated against Evasion. It's not worth the sacrifice, compared to what you stand to gain.

| Agreed, IMHO Evasion would only be really beneficial if you were to follow a team-mate who isn't using it as bait for an enemy that you know for certain is an SA user. Even then you would be disadvantaged up until the point that your opponent 'revealed' themselves to attack, making it as Ender said, a partial booster at best. My loadout, when I don't use negative boosters (i.e. Lately because the game lag situation is still so frustrating) is to have Juggler and Fleet-foot... Pistol shootouts FTW! So, what is the most hated pair of boosters to come across on an opposing side? What setup usually results in you raging at a particular player for their booster choice? |

| I will say this, at certain maps, mainly Ice Caves, I will sometimes use Evasion over DTI/RH since there aren't that many long distance shootouts and thus there is not that much use for DTI. Besides, even though I am mainly neutralizing my opponent, I often have no problem engaging DTI users since 99% of them have no idea that burst fire is the way to go, regardless what booster you have in slot 1. But you do bring up valid points, both of you, if I have a good team with me, I will ditch Evasion and use teamwork instead. Having a good team can help you with flanking and setting up traps, something we didn't really get into all that much The most hated pair of boosters? Hmm, it all depends on how well the other player can utilize them, but SA+Launch Man on a good player can easily win the game for a team. However, one that I find extremely annoying is Point & Shoot with Bandoleer/Keep Firing. So many players with that combo and either the Pistole/Micro and it can get really annoying....I dunno, I just consider it as the no.1 noob booster setup, haha |

| Ahhh, good memories of outshooting DTI scrubs using the M4 with just the ak from across the map. My only regret is not trash talking them. Oh how I wish I could have got more hate mail. I've only been called a hacker what? .....twice? I thought I was a LOT better than that.
It's funny...I want to play this game for one reason. I want to do better than Reo. I'm not going to lie that was what kept me going when we all used to roll together, those 5 or so games where I would come out on top, get some congratz, feelz good and move on. I also know better than to let this feeling get the better of me. I think I've "come back" to this game like 8 times and almost every time I can't handle more than 4 games lest I tear my hair out.
PS I don't think anyone here could do better than you at this point reo judging by how much downtime we've all had. It sounds like you're having fun and improving so keep rocking. |

| Haha, I don't get hatemail either, only if I'm rocking SA or corner-whoring with my FAL. But our style of play is pretty similar I would say - the non-stop moving, mainly sticking to the default guns. For some reason, people can't hate on that, haha. I think it's quite funny how you say that you wanted to do better than me, I was the same every time I got to play with Endlo, Vash and Raistlin. It's not about "HA, I'm better than you!", it's more like a good sparring, it's just a motivational factor. Even though I love steamrolling teams every now and then, just like Endlo mentioned, I do enjoy getting a really good challenge. Like just the other day, I played on my alt with 4 randoms against another alt with 4 randoms. We kept on running into eachother and taunt eachother after getting the kill. No BS trashtalking, no using "cheap" tactics. He went 24-11, and I 26-7, but just to find that "rival" that helps you step your game up is really fun. This is why I want to get some parties going again, so we can compete with eachother. Like who can get the most assists, most grenade kills, most BBQ's, most kills etc. When focusing on your own team you tend to ignore the lagging guys from Brazil on the other side, haha. Finally, I wouldn't be so sure that noone here would outplay my butt. Charlitos has his beast moments, Raist would probably be doing some serious damage and I know that you still would own the majority of the player pool yourself, Silver. I think I'll be on pretty much all night, I got yet some more things I need to try out, haha. (Nerd alert! ) And yes, anyone is more than welcome to join me. In fact, I would like if someone would like to practise 1v1's with me or other MARVELOUS things. |

| I'm afraid that if I play MP then you will see a side of me that really isn't nice.
As for 1V1's I'm down with that. I'm interested to see how my skills have deteriorated if at all. |

| Haha, don't you worry about that, I rage pretty hard from time to time aswell. Considering I will be drinking with a few of my buddies tonight things are not looking too well. I'll probabaly hide my mic before I go out so I can't use it when I boot up Uncharted 2 when I get home, haha. Drunken style BBQ for the win! |

| Hey guys!! some of you saw me online yesterday. I ended up just taking a random trip home on the weekend to see an old friend and i had some time to kill. It was mainly just to get me back into the mechanics of the game. Ill be back into it next weekend for a few weeks.. tho I really need to concentrate on my money situation. Turns out i cant afford infamous 2 so ill have to pick that up whenever I can later on down the track, and this also means no more U3 beta So im putting a bit of money aside for november cant wait |

| If anyone was on last night due to my previous post I apologize for not being there. Ended up being picked up by an ambulance and spent the night at the emergency. Probably the most odd day of my life. Anyway, since I don't feel too well today, I'll spend the remaining hours of the day in my bed playing games. If anyone wants to party up, just send me a message on PSN and I'll get on if I'm not already playing Uncharted 2. |
