THAT'S how I wanna do it Azira. Pro way to do it, screw flying the jet, just use it for aerial recon.

I'd like to invest some time with the jets and the helicopters, but it's not exactly easy to practice when there are better players out there, and players interested in shooting you down. My helicopter has changed from my BC2 habits unfortunately, making me much less effective but at least I don't flip over with the slightest touch of the roll stick.

Well I thought it was an amusing response.
If I had to like a campaign level, it would have to be "Thunder Run". Tanks, one-hit-kills, and a dinosaur toy: can't really go wrong there.

ive got the anti air warfare down to a science with my trusty stinger
i am so terrible at flying helicopters. im a much better gunner. jets are going to be the thing that you will have to spend some real time grinding in. but once you get bombs and missiles you can really rack up the points and affect the ground campaign.
just loving this game despite the squad function problems im having.
whats everyone's favorite class so far? mine is engineer. get it? harharharhar

Question for those other people who use the Scout class(snipers, I'm saying snipers because you are a sniper, period.) Do you guys use the hold breath method for sniping or a bipod if you've unlocked it for a specific gun? I seem to be hoping back and forth here lately, but i've gotten 2* on my SVR98(the first bolt action one).

hmm well im no official on sniping, but most of the time i am useless at the long range shots in this game. i do alot of midrange sniper cover if i find that our team is being choked at a bottleneck so i dont have long to line up shots and correct for distance im not quick enough on the trigger to use the hold breathe reliably

I had no idea you could hold your breath until the message came up playing the campaign and have yet to try it out in MP.
I'm not a very good sniper, so I usually just wait for my target to stop moving and go for the head. No moving targets for me. I haven't unlocked any Recon guns yet but I usually just go prone for the stability and go from there.

I'm a bad gunner, and I'm getting bored of flying helicopters that don't let me shoot. All I do is fly around with no gunners.

I'm not too big on Sniping atm. I think it would be best to alternate. Use bipods on long maps with reasonable cover. On smaller maps whick may require a run 'n' gun tactic use a lower power scope which still uses the hold breath.
I just want my Mortar already :'( My Assault class will be easy, Support is getting a bit boring and the Engineer will be pie... Recon will be... poop Yeah, I said it!!

There was a mortar-happy user in one Rush game I was playing - and then I put a big bullet in his skull. Stopped a killstreak apparently. Snipers... are totally useless. Definitely.

Lol. I think I'm on like, my 7th level or so of my scout class. You guys make me feel bad since right now my SV98 has 255 kills and 16 Accuracy Ribbons(5 headshots in a round). The reason I keep switching between my bipod and holding breath(magical L3 button for those who don't know ) is because my SV has a straight bolt attachment that lets me not have to un-scope to reload. So it's basically: Not need to hold breath but unscope to reload or hold breath for a shot and not have to unscope while shooting.
But on the plus, Azira, I can't fly anything to save my life XD I crash more times then I care to count. Shoot someone from 200m+ sure thing. Fly a helicopter or jet? Noooooooooope lol.

Well, it's settled then: I'll fly and everyone else can shoot. Everyone wins that way.

LOL. ^
im hopelessly engrossed in engineering atm to do anything else. on a good map i can funnel most enemy vehicles into a tight killbox surrounded by mines. leave the exit nice and empty so they will rush through right into a solitary mine and an rpg follow up by myself.
now if there was an ammo mule next to me they would be getting some first class points!
new topic: best "omg that was awesome" moment in mp?
for myself it would be duping a chopper pilot into shooting flares early, then sending a stinger into him for a disable. three people bail out of the chooper and it comes down ontop of one of them, LOL for a roadkill in my favor.

I just want to use it once It looks so shiny... So much work has to be put into the Support before it gets good. I suppose, all kits are like that though
The recon class has its uses but I will say that snipers who run in, annoy the stanky poop out of me. It's like "O NOZ, I need a better look" *sees enemy* "I'm gonna touch him" *goes up and touches the enemy* *dies* Team medic sees it all unfold... "That guy just died! I better go revive him" *revives* *dies* *newly revived team mate dies* ? I'm saying this because playing medic/assault or w/e gets hard when you're ramboing into 3 guys. Don't get me wrong, I love working as a team. It just hurts to see so many people thinking that they can do it on their own. 1 squad can turn the tables of any match if done correctly. Also, why do people constantly stand in the middle of hallways/corridors? That's just a slaughter waiting to happen... I just want to see one guy hug the wall
Role playing + rant = over.
I think I need a break from this game...
Also, sorry if I seem a bit angers today Been a rage filled 2 days in row for me.

I have two BT headsets, but I think BF mic systems just suck. I had trouble hearing one friend on his mic in BC2 and it's no different in BF3. Disappointing, but I'm not sure there's anything left on my end I can change. Talking in BF is just a pain.

I use a turtle beach headset for mine, played a squad TDM and we heard each other fine. Iunno, I hate using wireless headsets now.
Best MP moment for me, there are two.
One was this guy was pretty far from me and I was aiming at his feet because he was crawling away, I shot above him, and somehow the downward arc on the bullet went past his body and got the headshot. I was like O_O;;
The other was I told my GF that if I ever got to the point that I could snipe someone across the map, that was sprinting, headshot them with a suppressor on my gun, I would quit playing BF3, right as I said that, some guy was sprinting and I shot in front of him, head shot him and got a 150 point kill, was like "...that didn't count, he needs to be further <_< >_>"

I remember this one guy was slagging on one of our low-scoring team members. All I heard was "You're lucky that I don't know where you live ~static~ b***h-ass n-word" I don't think the mic system is poop enough now! After that was just static and what sounded like he was eating the mic
Must of been hungry...
Best in game moment... 360 no scope!!! Just kidding I have best in game moments nearly everyday... C4 + enemy tanks... Seriously I'll give them a good run, but if it gets too much, I'm coming for ya with avengeance

I tried to get some games in but the servers were full when I tried. Instead I started playing the campaign and wanted to take the person who made up the checkpoints out and shoot him.
