Got my 1st taste of the BF3 beta. It was pretty sweet except for falling into "holes" and getting stuck. It will take some getting used to a this is my 1st experience with the . I was having trouble finding enemies and the action at 1st, but slowly got better. Looking forward to more game time.

Yeah I had the same problem when I stopped playing BLOPS. I was expecting someone to pop up every 10 seconds.

Here's a video of a more updated version of BF3 running on PS3. Looks so much better, IMO.

I enjoy it as it is more team/tactical based and less "arcadey". Starting out on PC with games like Rainbow Six, etc, it hits home well. Nice now a days to see a game that focuses more on team play then K/D.

Read on the BC2 news thing that PS3 users get any BF3 dlc earlier on the PS3. Beta is over

Based on my few games, I agree with you RHYN0X. It was nice to be teamed with a few squads that were communicating and helping me get my feet wet. Made a couple of new gaming friends.

i am disappointed that we were given a subpar beta to stress test because of decisions by sony and microsoft. i am not disappointed though that dice is performing damage control on this and putting some fears to rest.

I'm doing that tomorrow if they'll let me. I had planned to do it after reading the post and totally had a brain fart.

I walked into Future Shop on the 13th so I should get the Steelbook even though I didn't order the game online, because well, I don't want it arriving three weeks after it's released.
In related news, I got my 5000 kills ribbon in BC2 yesterday, so I think I'm ready for BF3 now.
