That works? No damage to the jet? I'll have to try that assuming I can line up with a chopper.

I played the game with the stereo on last night since the amplifiers were already on... My ears, oh the wonderful sounds in my ears...

ninja yeah i killed countless of the choppers but people would always bail out before id get the kill. i got 3 upgrades for it.

it's a glitch they are going to fix. but in the future it will work if you give it a burst of guns before you hit it.

havent run into any boosters yet......but i hear that a couple are born every day!

having some good rounds this morn, but it seems like it is taking me 2-3 games to get into the swing. i went terribly negative in my first one. ive run into a couple matches this weekend where my team is mostly teens and twentys going up against 4-6 generals O.O* talk about a massacre being shot by some gun ive never seen with some attachment that must make a 50foot tall arrow stick out of my head. i swear as soon as i could spawn i was being killed.

You know that they're deleting the stats of people they catch doing this? They're coming down pretty hard on boosters.

I like getting behind a friendly tank when it's firing at another tank. I think someone else had the same idea because the tanks were firing at each other for a long time when under usual circumstances one would be destroyed. Tanks are usually the best way to get repair points because, well, they're tanks: everyone's shooting them and trying to destroy them.

I hooked up with a guy the other day and did that. We went all over and captured flags and I jumped out and repaired as needed. Ended up with with a good round and lots of XP.

The clearing of stats will be the easy part. Getting them to stop completely? Is the hardest thing to do. This one guy was at 43 or 46 with 12 hours of gameplay... at like score 2000/min I don't think he's going to stop boosting because of a stat swipe.

Scenarios and players like Az and Swift are what give me hope in this game. Chilling in tanks so I can use C4 on them!!

Also, I absolutely love this game's hard campaign difficultiy

ban the isp number or just patch the game. it makes me wonder who would spend good money just to boost in the game round after round. i know theres cheaters on every game but especially in this type of game where its an action heavy one, it just boggles my mind to camp out in a corner and repair the bot.

i must go and get my heater working in my room. if only i had a sonic screwdriver like device the engineer class has and just hold it up to random broken things..... that would be very nice.

I suppose they could cap the amount of XP you can get from repairing a single vehicle, instead of getting it stuck upside down and continuing to repair it.

i did the whole campaign on hard before even beginning to play online. it gave me a good feel for the weapons and whatnot

yea if i want a bunch of xp i just go recon with the mav and point out enemies that way you get 30 points for every kill everyone else gets and you dont die. plus all the surveillance ribbons at 200 a pop. in one match on grand bazzar i got 10 surveilance ribbons and like 6000 points with 0 kills and 0 deaths and i never left my spawn. and this this is scary effective if you have a support guy mortaring the enemies you spot. I dont consider this boosting because well they could just shoot down the MAV but everyone seems to just ignore them for some reason.

Also, there's a petition to bring a Titan mode to BF3! I wonder how it would work. Perhaps a carrier? Jets, Helicopters and LAVs out in open waters srrounding an island?

Played some MW3 tonight and it confirmed that my mic works just fine. The speed of the game is so much faster than BF3 too. Still would rather play battlefield with good mics.

yup. but im slowly learning how to check my objective flags on screen to see if the squad commander has designated a target. i think thats going to be critical. it gives you extra points and usually the kills will go towards defense or attack ribbons. BUT its very hard to find people who will do that for the sake of 3 other people.

redflag, good gaming with you tonight. it takes time to get into the swing of this game. you might want to fiddle with the control sensitivity. i put mine way up to around what i was playing in r3 and it helped so much. also i learned that burst fire > rapid fire. another thing is if you see alot of people going engineer or sniper, i will go as assault to give them ammo. i figure that most people are a better shot than me so i better give them bullets to do some real good with em. my bullets some times are like the cartoon ones from "who framed roger rabbit" LOL

Good points on both. For some reason I end up the leader a lot and my squad follows orders. I try to return the favor for them. I've been fairly lucky to have team oriented squads for the most part and also being understanding of my average skill. I'm learning to be a better teammate and finding subtle ways to help out other than kills. I'm still trying to get me some too, but maybe being a little smarter doing it. I'll be on tonight.

I'm afraid I have lost myself in Skyrim and have no idea when I'll be back. Maybe after my midterm.

also i cannot stress how valuable spotting is. if you are going into a gunfight with no health, try and spot the person who killed you before you drop. that way everyone can see them and try and dispatch them. you will get 10 points for spotting plus whatever damage you did.
see a group of enemies too far away to accurately kill? fire a long burst into them to get them into suppressed state. thats 50 points for each of them killed while still under the effects!

whats really neat is that if you can do over 50% damage to them, spot them, and suppress them, you will get a base of 110 points. not bad for an assist right?

there are tons of ways to help your team, and hopefully they reciprocate. and give the snipers some love if they got a mav up. that thing is just a hunk of beauty if used correctly.

edit: litterally all i have done a couple rounds was go around either reviving people, or giving ammo and not concentrating on rooting out the baddies. thats some good points, especially from the people using the increased explosives specialty!!! cha-ching!
