lol i gotta get my preorder in tonight for skyrim.
is remembrance day like our veterans day?
been playing a round or two a night if i have the time. they really need to put team life counts on the server browser. i absolutely hate jumping into a round with less than a minute to go.
i tried out dingos helicopter-javelin combo and it was pretty fun. i was also using mines too so i was throwing them onto the ground . got some pretty impressive kills with doing that. gotta watch out though because sometimes they will stick to the pylon on the copter! also got into a rush match with 3 mortars going against us, the defenders, on metro... we wiped those spammers off the face of the planet, lol!

hmmmmmmm have you tried unpluggin the modem for a couple mins and letting it reset to clear cache?? i used to have problems with a roommate leaving his computer on during the day while downloading albums. problem was he never blocked people uploading from him so it bottlenecked it for me. ALSO check for updates for your router.
just go to dingos house and play! id invite you to my place but this towns got some serious pirate love.

Another pirate town! Honestly, I don't see the big picture with lootin' and stuff!!! Much rather be a stealthy ninja assassin... Just remembered... I be a viking! I pillage dem village too!
After some super haxoring and entering 'The Matrix' and coming back as 'the one', I boosted it up to 7.3Mbps. Not the best but it shall do...

hey i used to have a 36.6kbs dialup and that was considered lightning!
i think im going to give up on rush for a while. tried 4 games last night and no one wanted to denfend the stations. i was the only person staying back. it was kharg island so there is plenty of room for an attacker to sneek up the sides. was fine for a long time. i had to suicide every time i ran out of ammo since no one was around me. finally the enemy learned that i was the only line of defense and sent people in a suicide chopper to bail out. i was hitting select on the stations for defend orders but no one would come to my rescue
in other news, there will be a new game mode for karkand expansion. i knew about the maps but not the mode. exciting news! take care everyone and have a solemn veterans' day!

Thought I'd share this with the peeps that don't check out my vid thread. It's not EXACTLY what I envisioned (mostly due to Vegas rendering capacity making it a bit troublesome), but I hope you likey!

on the old resume you can say that you have a strong engineering background, with a demolitions subset of skills. plus a proficiency with large machinery.
i remember seeing a job application from a kid that posted his Halo online expertise in the "technical skills" part of the form. i told the boss to hire that kid on the spot for his moxy, but bossman said no....noooooooooo!

That Glock info will def help. I didn't know about that. I actually thought it was a weapon mod I'd have to unlock. Thanks! Might have missed one of those kills had I been fully-auto (don't know how much kick it's got), though.
Glad you liked it! (^_-)d

Well me just had a huge fluke kill of the century moment. Was using a mortar to clear some space for friendlies on the island map and without knowing when me shot a round off a jet flew over very very low, connected with the round and exploded. This time me had a friend over watching me play and he saw it all happen and we both loled as that poor pilot would be pissed off.
In another round went 22-7 melee only as other team was too busy trying to take out the tanks then pay attention to thier map to see me running at them.

Dingo, if you're not public enemy #1 in every game then I'd be very surprised.
I'm going to try blowing stuff up today. I could have done it yesterday during clan night but I refused to play yesterday so I'm doing it today.
I might have to go out and do some shopping (since I'm the only one in the house who won't be tempted to by Skyrim while I'm out, we're waiting for tomorrow before we do anything) so after that I should be good to go.

So, lots of things:
I finished the campaign. I can't say I'm looking forward to picking up the campaign-related trophies. Story was... why is this in here? Oh, so we can show off you taking off of an aircraft carrier.
I don't see any way of making a private game, yet when you're looking at the server browser it looks like there's a setting that shows whether or not the server is ranked. I may be entirely wrong, but there may be the possibility of unranked games in the future.
TDM is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. I thought things didn't make sense in R2's TDM, but this is a whole new level of "Why am I spawning here?"
I kept trying to join various people except the games were full.
My KDR is inching downwards slowly.

got this game the other day and im pretty impressed. The only thing im confused about is the multiplayer character loadouts. The guns keep changing along with the attachments so it makes me confuzzled. I just take whatever the give me and run around haha

Hehe, the checkpoints in the campaign suck. The game makes you walk a long way, then you die for some reason during a firefight and then you have to do the whole part again. I can't remember which I was more frustrated with sometimes: the actually dying part or the walking 10000 miles back to where I was when I died.
I might be on tonight, but I should probably make some cookies.
EDIT: Idk how I missed this. Sorry.

Each gun has its own attachments and as you use the gun you unlock attachments for that gun. If you start using a different gun then you unlock attachments for it.

Also, the starting weapons are faction locked which is why the weapons continuously change. Also the initial attachment unlocks for the weapon is faction based as well, so if the gun is US, the first scopes you unlock will be too. After around 100 kills with some weapons you will start unlocking the scopes and sights from the opposing faction of that specific gun.

the tunguska aa tank is a real beast! just had an amazing round of rush and they never took the first point. barely any bullet drop and can cut swaths in enemy squads. if you can get a nice vantage point looking out to the enemy assault ship, you can rip up the boats in about 2.5 seconds of gunfire. the lav's will take alot longer to kill but your rounds do hurt it, so if you can disable it fairly quickly most people will bail out. that means just raking the water with bullets.
it was a good round to end my night (your morning) with. faith in rush mode is back just a little bit.

Did you take out any helicopters/jets? I have found that the Amtrac is the biggest troll in the game!! Just drive it up to any point and watch your team mates magically spawn and attack like crazy monkehs flinging cookies... Not those cookies...

If you want to upgrade your jet fast follow this simple instruction.
Fly directly at an enemy chopper and ram it in mid air. You will destroy it with no damage to your jet and you will kill everyone in the chopper right away.
Found that out when me sucky flying made me directly hit a chopper and went from 0xp for upgrade to 483xp
