While the announcement of this game isn't news there is a new trailer up on IGN.
IGN also released a breakdown of that trailer.
I'm pretty excited for this game. I heard that BF:BC2 was a good game and this trailer is amazing even if it where cutscenes.

*Shrugs* I didn't find the story mode amazing to be honest. Never got to try the Multiplayer so I don't know about that.

Ah direct sequel to Battlefield 2. So basically its going to use an open map instead of a path map? These battlefield games are more PC than console though aren't they?

yep battlefield 3 only gettin 24player on ps3/360 64 players on pc
