Why on earth would you pick an ability that slows you down? Do you get extra XP or something for using it?

dumb question, watching red's videos, he'll switch to the augar. I hit level 6 or so, got the custom loadout and bought the marksman along with the carb. However, I don't get both guns in my weapon wheel.

Has Red already picked up other weapons from dead guys before the video clips, or am I missing something in loading up my weapon wheel with skill point purchased weapons?

edit: also what the heck is that gatling gun (rolling barrel)?

I purchased the Resistance 3: Special Edition. Favorite Series ever!

timpangos - Unless you use the perk that allows you to have 2 or 3 guns, you only start with 1, until you pick some up off of bodies.

The Auger is a 6 kill streak reward.

The auger is a killstreak, not a normal gun. You activate it like any other.
I haven't watched them, but my guess is that the 'gatling gun' is another of the killstreaks. The highest actually.

If you see someone with more than one gun in their loadout, it's because they're using the Strapped perk also lets you start with two, then three weapons.

crap, I worry about identity theft and always put in random birth dates that will make me 21 or older, no idea what birth date I put in here and so can not find out what password I used.

double crap on the auger/gatling gun --- you actually have to kill someone (multiple someones) in a row to get them ... rules me out.

yes on the increased xp

i think its only 25 extra XP for each kill you get .IMO you are much better using spotter or radar bacon to get extra XP
spotter=every person you spot when they die you get 90xp even if someone else kills them

radar bacon=40xp i think for every kill on your radar no matter who kills them.

so the Negs IMO are not worth my time the only use for them is if you want a medals for them and idk if the Negs have medals

There are no medals for negs as far as I can tell.

Thats too bad. I love the idea of neg boosters/abilities but I think those who use them should get better recognition, mhmm.

if you couple a neg with something like spotter or radar beacon you get more xp for each "assist"
spotter combines with sloth gives you 113 xp i think.

Regarding neg boosters, from what I've read over at MyResi3.0, they each give a 25% increase in xp rewarded & can be stacked.

just hit the button and remnanted i will probably
keep doing that till i hit 10.

Resistance 3 is pissing me off.. I order the Special Edition from the UK and then my regional redemption codes don't work so I purchase a network pass and it still doesn't work. Sony is so sad.

You need to create a UK/EU account and redeem the code that came with the game using that. The code needs to match the region of the game, so you need a PS store account from the same region the game came from.
